We spent 3 nights here while exploring the Dells. The location is convenient to attractions, restaurants, highways, etc. The hotel overall is attractive and modern, and check-in was friendly and efficient. We had a spacious king studio suite on the 3rd floor, where the toilet/shower room was separate from the sink and counter. There's a kitchenette with full fridge, dishwasher, stove top, utensils, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable, although some of the pillows were a bit flat and needed replacing. Most of the time the hotel was fairly quiet, but it was full of families with young kids and teens, and sometimes kids were running down the hallway as late as 9:45pm. Wifi worked well. The reception/breakfast area was used in the evening for appetizers and free drinks for guests, and in the AM for a wonderful breakfast bar with just about anything you could want. Hot and cold items were served with plenty of options. The space was usually crowded but there was plenty of inside and outside seating. The only negatives were the noise from kids on occasion in the halls and the fact that there are only 2 elevators for this huge hotel. The one we used closest to the lobby often had a line of people waiting, was slow moving, and got very crowded. The hotel really needs at least one more elevator. Overall it was a good stay. If every in the area again we might find a less crowded, quieter location.

This visit started off rough with a phone call about an hour before we checked in saying that our reservation was canceled. Fortunately they had not given away the room yet. The room was amazing beds were comfortable. My kids wanted to sell the house and live there forever. Loved the TV entertainment options not subject to the standard crappie tv options. Easy options to cast from phone. The breakfast area was a bit of a chaotic mess but good options. Several waffle makers but no instructions , syrup and plates were not near syrup bottles were the squeeze type sticky and not labeled. Biscuits and gravy were off in a corner. This is not the south so maybe that is why? The biggest add to the chaos was the droves of people dragging their bags through the breakfast area to get out of the building I assume because they had to park around back. I like the basketball court out back my kids and I have had fun there in the past. This time it was too crowded to play the need more hoops. It would have been nice if for the price you got passes to a water park. However, All and all it was a great stay we plan to return.

This hotel used to be our favorite place to stay in the Dells and I would have never imagined that they treat their loyal customers like this. So we stayed at the hotel with our kids for one night. After we got home, I noticed a $650 charge on my credit card placed by staybridge. At first I thought it was just a temporary authorization of a random amount but the charge was actually posted 2 days later. We then called the hotel and they said we broke the TV and we would have to talk to the manager to know more about it. We kept calling back and were always told the manager was out. A week later we finally got a hold of the manager and she said the TV was smashed, which was completely shocking because we didn’t even use the TV! We stayed with them before so I knew their TV doesn’t have YouTube and we didn’t even bother using it and only used our iPads during our stay. The manager was not helpful or understanding at all. She didn’t even bother to do any investigation and simply said there was nothing she could do. I then called IHG guest relations and that team forwarded the case to her again. She then sent us a picture of a broken TV with no evidence that it was from our room (and of course they couldn’t prove the damage was caused by us, which I kind of understand since that proof wasn’t possible and there was no camera). Later in the day, my husband and I closely examined her pictures and we compared them to the pictures we took in that room and found that the position of the TV doesn’t even match where the TVs were in our pictures so they basically used a broken TV picture from somewhere else to place the $650 charge on our account. I sent our findings to the hotel manager and there was no response. She previously refused to give us time stamps of the broken TV pictures because I mentioned our last resort would be to get help from a lawyer. I asked why they didn’t notify us when the damage was reported and she also refused to answer. I’m disputing the charge with my credit card company and will report them to consumer protection agency too. This is so sad because I was planning another trip to the Dells and wanted to stay there again. I can’t imagine this hotel is under this kind of management. IHG guest relations people were much nicer but they said because the hotel is independently owned there’s not really anything they can do. We’ve wasted hours and hours on this fraud charge and I’m just sharing my experience here for people to know what could possibly happen here. Also a side note, the front desk people were also not very friendly. We had two small kids who were waiting with us during the checkin process and they were very tired at that time. Regardless of them crying the front desk person was still chatting casually with someone instead of coming to help us get checked in. I asked why he didn’t use the deposit from my online booking and he responded with a surprised look. That’s what happened during our previous stays so I didn’t know it

This hotel is great for large families or families with animals. It is a short walk across the parking lot to the Outlet Mall, Knuckleheads, and MagicQuest. We stayed on top floor in the corner and did not hear a sound. Breakfast gets crazy so go before 7:30 to avoid the crowd. Breakfast was more substantial than typical hotel fare. Waffles, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt and fruit bar, oatmeal, cold cereal

Beautiful hotel and the rooms were wonderful. Everything was clean. Loved the full kitchen, full size refrigerator, coffee and coffee pot. I read the reviews and did not see anyone complaining about what woke us up. Every time someone went in or out of their door (including ours) it slammed loud (also the dead bolt was very loud). We could hear this several doors down the hall as well. Unfortunately, it was worse for us because the people across the hall knew the people beside us and constantly left their room and entered the room next door to us. They unlocked their room (loud click) exited their room (slam) knocked on the door (knock knock knock) beside us, they let them in ( lock noise and slam) they left to go back to their room (lock noise and slam). This went on about 4 times until around midnight in addition to others who left and returned to their room several doors down. We asked for a late checkout to try to catch up on the sleep we missed and it started all over again in the morning. If you are going there to rest or sleep in I would advise against it. They really should have invested in a soft close door.

My wife is acutely sensitive to cigarette smoke and plant allergens. To escape the latter, we leave our home state of Texas every October to seek refuge in more northern latitudes. Naturally, we only stay at smoke-free hotels. Last night we stayed at the Staybridge Suites, Wisconsin Dells. We were checked into room #405 by an unwelcoming front desk attendant. About 1 am, my wife woke up experiencing severe breathing and choking difficulties from an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke coming, apparently, from a nearby room. Since I was already sound asleep, she suffered alone until the early morning hours. When informed what had happened, I immediately reported the incident to the front desk. The same attendant who checked us in appeared totally unconcerned. I asked for specific details of how this incident would be investigated but was met with a bland uncaring stare. Pressed for specifics, I was told that maybe housekeeping could look into it. Given this totally unsatisfactory response, I requested cancellation of our reservation for the following night and a full refund of charges. There was no heartfelt apology and no offer to make things right. Also no offer of a room in another part of the hotel. Later that morning, I independently sought out a housekeeping representative and asked for help. That individual graciously checked nearby rooms and reported that, except for one, they were either unoccupied that evening or had no obvious signs of smoke. The excepted room was the one immediately adjacent (#403.) Apparently, that room could not be checked because the occupant had a 'Do not disturb' notice on the door. As part of its promotional promise to guests, the hotel claims that "Exceeding your expectations is our priority. We want all our guests to be completely satisfied with their stay. If you experience any issues let us know right away and we'll get on it." Based on our experience, this is a false promise amounting to no more than hollow propaganda. No one from the front desk got on to our complaint. No one from the front desk seemed to care. We are most disturbed by this incident and want future guests to know that what this hotel claims is not always what they follow through on. Buyer beware! You may be next!

This is the best hotel in the dells, by far! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff behind the desk. Super friendly and helpful! I didn't catch the woman's name, but she was great! She gave us suggestions about the restaurant we were heading to for dinner. Such a sweetheart. The room itself was amazing. So clean! You can tell the staff really cares about keeping this place nice. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows were not my favorite. The only other critique we really could give was that there is no fan in the bathroom. It got super steamy in there after showering. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Staff helping here were great, as well. The hotel is dog friendly. We didn't hear any animals or people throughout the night, even with being on the second floor. Another perk was that it was directly across from the outlet mall. The dells definitely has an abundance of hotels; the majority, unfortunately, are subpar. This hotel, however, is top notch! We will definitely stay here again while back in the dells!

Stayed here for two nights while attending a conference at the Kalahari. I had a King suite which had a kitchen, couch, King size bed, and bathroom. The room was nice and spacious. The hair dryer was very powerful and a definite upgrade from most hotels. Breakfast had a nice variety and above par. Staff was friendly upon check in and check out. I was able to check in early, too, which was appreciated. The Outlet Mall is very close as well as plenty of dining options. Would recommend.

The facilities were very nice-large room with a full kitchen. The happy hour was a nice touch, although a very limited menu. The breakfast was okay-probably one step down from a Hilton. The staff was not great-they couldn’t find my reservation and then couldn’t find the payment. Because it was reserved through another provider they tacked on a $15 resort fee (which they didn’t mention). No one working there seemed at all friendly or happy. Disappointing.
