First the negatives. Pillows and bed was not extremely comfortable and coffee table was a foot rest so hard to eat snacks and socialize but the staff far outweighed the negative. We arrived late last minute due to weather and flights. Check in was amazing friendly upbeat staff even at midnight !! Wish I had gotten the front desk staff’s names. But the best gem was Jeffrey Davis making omelets for all the guests. Friendly and communicative while making “made to order” eggs and omelets. Made our morning after a long day and night of travel. Thank you jeffrey!!!

called Hotel directly on Aug. 25 to arrive on Nov. 18, paid at the time of my booking. Promised that confirmation be sent to my email, that did not happened. Called again the Hotel after weeks passed, again I was promised that it will be sent via email. Sill nothing. Arrived at hotel on Nov. 18 and was told that my room is not yet paid. after minutes of checking, I was told it is ok. At check out, I again was told at reception that my room is not yet paid. I have to go through a lot of questions. She even dared me to look at her computer but I declined. After about 10 minutes I was told, I am ok. But a negative perception had been created.
GGuest UserI can't say enough good things about this hotel and especially about the staff. We had had reservations at another nearby hotel that was a) dreadful and b) had cancelled our reservations when we were delayed in arriving! After spending our arrival night in the miserably dirty, broken-down room we had initially reserved (they couldn't cancel that, as they had already charged us for that 1 night), we were stressed out about the cancelled reservation and the nightmare room and the impact all this was having on our plans. By the time I called SpringHill Suites, I was practically in tears. So many other hotels nearby were fully booked for the weekend. We were in the area visiting our grandkids, and had arranged to spend the day swimming with them at our hotel. But we now had to check out of the bad hotel by 10 am, so we didn't even have a room after that-- much less a pool! I explained all that to the incredibly helpful desk clerk who answered, and begged her for a room and early check-in, if possible. Fortunately, she and the housekeeping staff at SpringHill Suites REALLY came through for us. They got us into a room there by the time our grands arrived around 10:30 am. And in doing so, they earned our business from now on. The room was exquisitely clean, everything worked well, it was nice and quiet, and it had everything we needed. The walk-in shower was a wonderful bonus, since I am disabled and have trouble using a tub/shower combo. And they put our weekend trip for our granddaughter's 4th birthday right back on track. That kind of customer service, care and concern is PRICELESS these days. Give them your business. They'll work hard to please you and, if you have a problem, they'll do their best to help. We're proof of that!!!
JJohn BLet me start by saying that the front desk staff was awesome. Courteous, efficient, and on point with their service. It was all downhill from there. The ”breakfast area had all the tables and chairs pushed up against the wall, so they could not be used. The coffee machine was gone, the cooler with cold drinks (for purchase) was empty, the ice machine unplugged, the pool was closed, the workout room was closed....ALL IN THE NAME OF COVID. To top it off the person ”serving” breakfast had not one, but two electronic devices occupying her time, and interrupting her resulted in the rolling of her eyes. No, ”can I help you, please, or anything that resembled customer service. She'd slowly get up and say, ”What you want?” To which we had to ask what the options were. No juice (juice must cause Covid), self serve coffee was available, so why not during the day and in the evening? The one table that was too large to push against the wall was kept dirty so nobody would want to use it. Sharing an elevator with another guests, I commented on how rude the attendant was. The other guest laughed and said, ”Ha! She's in a good mood today, you should have been here yesterday!” I also greeted the cleaning lady with a ”Good morning” only to be me with a glare. I stayed 2 nights for business, but would have switched if it was an option. Using Covid as an excuse to cut your services is abhorrent. Other hotels in Charlotte are offering all amenities, but with caution. The place is a joke, and I will NEVER come back. NEVER!
GGuest UserI travel quite a bit and this has got to be the most neglected hotel room I've ever stayed in. First, the bedroom wasn't as clean as I'd expect it to be. The phone wasn't working. When we picked up the handset there was electrical tape all over it, so someone knew it didn't work and tried to cover it up. Even after all that, i could let it be and say you get what you pay for. But the BATHROOM had not been touched since the inception of this hotel. The bathroom sink was the slowest drain I've ever encountered. The sink filled up every time we brushed our teeth, and had to wait 5 minutes before the next person could use it in order for the water to go drain. The shower rod was broken, causing the flimsy ineffective shower curtain to droop down to the middle, causing water to splash onto the floor from both ends of the shower. It's been like this for a while because there's mold on both ends of the shower and the tile is broken. Worst part, the shower did not drain all the water. There's a pocket i guess in the tub that doesn't seem to angle completely towards the drain, creating a puddle of STANDING WATER in the shower. Which means if someone takes a shower before you, like say a rowdy pre-teen playing in the dirt all day, you will be stepping into a puddle of their dirty run off from their shower. Our room was cleaned while we were away, and the puddle was gone when we came back, which means they found a way to push the water towards the drain, which means THEY KNEW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. It's been like that for a while. How do we know you ask?? The spot where the tub puddle is IS RUSTING, while the rest of the tub isn't. You should feel ashamed to subject families to that room, and as a result I'd rather sleep in my car rather than stay at that place again.
GGuest UserAs always my stay was awesome. Room was so neat and clean. Beds were like sleeping on clouds. Woke up to a beautiful and delicious breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel anytime.
For the price, this is a very nice 2-star hotel. Has lots of transient workers from nearby construction sites but it was very quiet. Quick access to nearyby restaurants, WalMart and on the Highway. Perfect. Breakfast was as expected for a 2 star Hotel but the breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly. The Checkin and Checkout proccess was fast, friendly and professional. When checking in, the gentleman was extremely helpful, a true asses to the Hotel Management team. Pictures are actual pix from 319
