Baotou Hotels with Pools

We were supposed to stay for a night but since we have to wait for our PCR Test result we decided to stay one more night in Shangri-La before going back to Beijing. I do love the bed it's very comfortable to sleep and I did sleep like a baby. The bathtub is great as well. We enjoyed our stay.

The front desk staff Jack was very warm and polite. The check-in procedure was simple and convenient. He also took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding travel guide and transportation information, which made people feel very considerate. The hotel room was also cleaned very cleanly and the bedding was comfortable.

1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing.

Environment: About five kilometers away from the city center, convenient parking, and a street not far from the surrounding area is full of restaurants Facilities: The decoration and price can match, the room is small and can be controlled, all towels have packaging bags after disinfection, but disposable slippers are not provided, there are disinfected slippers, and the high-floor scenery is OK. Hygiene: Hygiene is OK Service: The front desk attitude is very bad, not enthusiastic, and not polite. How to do this attitude in the service industry? It does not match the hotel grade at all. After I went there, I said that our room did not have a window. We questioned it and found out that we were wrong. There was no apology and attitude. This kind of front desk was fired in the south in minutes. I don’t know that the level of such a big hotel front desk is like this? Breakfast is very poor, the variety is sparse, there is no coffee machine, and the hotel grade price is completely mismatched!

The house is small but very cozy. I didn't expect such a small area to be able to fit such a good feeling and increase knowledge. However, there are a few small comments: First, because we live for a long time, we sometimes want to clean it ourselves, but without the right tools, it would be better if the landlord can increase it. Second, the house is a bit cold, but the heating company seems to have a problem in those few days, and an announcement was posted, but it was really cold by the window. I hope I can press a thicker curtain. Nothing else. I forgot to take pictures before I left, but the house really didn’t have to say.
