Can’t say enough positive about Samari. Simply superb place and a great HQ for Banos activities. Service superb, room fantastic and the pool / spa a real reward. Worth every dollar spent on our stay in this refurbed monastery and extensive grounds.

Excelente Servicio e instalaciones… El servicio es excelente desde que llegas te reciben con una copa de bebida especial, nosotros veníamos de otro hotel pero aquí desde que llegamos más temprano se portaron con un servicio al huésped especial, aquí te cuidan mucho. Dora nos atendió desde que llegamos a las instalaciones y hasta que nos fuimos nos siguió atendiendo incluso por la tarde ya noche seguía ahí con ese servicio Dora hizo que tuviéramos una excelente experiencia, antes de irnos pasamos por el spa y estaba ahí nos tomó una foto a mí y mi familia. El mejor lugar para ir a Baños con mucha atención las habitaciones muy rústicas de buen gusto y el buffet desayuno excepcional.

Wonderful friendly staff! Beautiful place to stay. Fantastic food and a delicious morning buffet! We were impressed by the elegance and thoughtful design of Samary Spa. Every detail—from the architecture to the decor—feels intentional and harmonious, creating a truly serene atmosphere. The food was outstanding and absolutely worth a visit on its own. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, try to carve out time for a special dinner or even just a drink at the restaurant. It’s a step above what you’d typically find in downtown Baños, perfect if you’re looking for a more refined experience or even just a guaranteed delicious food and safe place. We were initially unsure if it would be a good fit for our kids (ages 5 and 7), but they ended up having a fantastic time. There’s a lovely play area for children, and they especially enjoyed the pool at the spa. To our surprise, they even offer massages for kids! There were also other family with kids (different ages) staying at the property. What really sets this place apart is the warm, genuine hospitality. There’s a strong sense of tradition woven into every part of the experience, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. It’s a peaceful, safe retreat just minutes from everything. You can’t go wrong with it.

What a wonderful experience! The service was incredible, the facility is well kept and clean, the rooms are spacious. We had a 3 course dinner, and it was amazing. The breakfast has good variety of food. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and the sauna. I took a morning walk through the beautiful gardens, and it was so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend it.
