Banos Hotels with Bars

This is hands down THE BEST HOTEL I have ever stayed at, and I don't say things like that lightly. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with a waterfall view from almost all of the rooms. I would sit outskde at night and watch the beautifully illuminated waterfall from our balcony. If you'd like to visit, the base of the waterfall is a simple one to two minute walk across the street! The beds are comfortable, and the showers are really nice. The pool is quite amazing as well, and the restaurant attached had really great food. We were even greated with a mimosa upon arrival! However, the best part about this hotel is the staff. A member in my party had a medical emergency late at night, and speaking minimal Spanish we were terrified. They quickly secured a ride to the hospital for us and helped us through the scary times. With no access to a translator at the hospital, they even sent a staff with us to help translate as best as they could, which *literally* may have been life saving. I have never met such kind people before. All in all, this hotel has had better service and views than any hotel I have stayed at before. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Baños.

I love this place! Located downtown, a few minutes from bars, thermal baths and restaurants (although the food at Selina's is delicious!). Whether you want to chill at the accommodation or go for an adventure - like rafting, you are in the right hands with the Selina staff! With the help of Quito Bike Tours, we went on an amazing trip, from seeing waterfalls to a beautiful park up in the mountains filled with flowers and some huge swings. I can’t wait to come back here one day.

Booked with parking included but when we got there told no because only ”compact” cars are allowed and we had a minivan. This was not disclosed upon booking. Told breakfast served at 8am but it wasnt. Breakfast was never served. TV very old and small. Looked like a computer size screen. Shower took 10 minutes to get warm. Staff not at all pleasant or accommodating. Only good thing is location which is walking distance to many places.

A beautiful hotel, excellent staff and service. Beautiful location, quiet street, no noise from bars and night discos and to the center on foot 5-10 minutes. Nearby is a beautiful bakery ”Don Gato 2, ART CAFE” - for coffee lovers and of course ”La Aldea Mágica” - a wonderful place not only for children but also for adults. Recommend this hotel - clean air and silence)))))) In the evening you can try pizza, which are being done here at the hotel.
