Beit Al Baraka

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Beit Albaraka in Umm Qais, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the ancient ruins of Umm Qais. I spent hours just soaking in the scenery from the terrace, which is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening sunset. The accommodations were cozy and beautifully decorated, blending traditional charm with modern amenities. I particularly loved the attention to detail in the decor, which added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food! The breakfast spread was a delightful mix of local flavors and fresh ingredients, and I highly recommend trying the traditional dishes. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the nearby historical sites. Overall, Beit Albaraka is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and stunning views. Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventure-filled trip, this place has it all. I can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories! We had a great time here. Walid and his colleague were incredibly kind and helpful—assisting with our bags, preparing a delicious local dinner, and even a special breakfast. With only one other guest, we felt like we had the whole house to ourselves. We played cards, relaxed in the lovely living room and library, and enjoyed a generous, delicious breakfast in peace. The hospitality was truly humbling, and the hiking with Ahmed, from a local tribe, was an eye-opening and memorable experience. Highly recommended if you're visiting Um Qais. We loved it.

Very nice and cozy place. Mattresses and cover are very comfortable and super clean. Great hosts and amazing g home cooked meals! Very close the ancient Roman and Greek ruins. Great to visit during springtime. Cycling is a must do activity. Beekeeping as well. The honey we bought is spectacular

We had a great time here. The host Walid was extremely helpful during our stay, from helping us with bags and providing a special breakfast for us to even escorting me for a haircut. We had the house to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the abundant delicious breakfast and the living room space and library. Highly recommended for a visit and stay in Unm Qais. We loved it

This is our favourite place in Jordan to relax and enjoy the peace, the food, the welcome and to see the spectacular sunset over Palestine and Lake Tiberias from the Roman site. And then in the morning wander again through history among the ruins of Decapolis Gadara, offset and made yet more interesting by the Ottoman village. If you have the time, try the experiences on offer to round off a memorable stay.
