Fantastic Sunday Lunch, lovely prompt service from the staff. Great atmosphere and totally tasty food, what more could you ask for in a Sunday afternoon. 2/3 course offers are available. Really, really good, hearty, tasty food and fantastic size portions. Would 100 per cent recommend and can't wait to go back. Thank you, The team at the Nines

Rare sunny day wanted to eat outside, we were told they are short staffed and cannot order 2 courses. That’s the rule! We have been there many times, always sat outside and had 3 courses, not once told cannot have two courses. Staff with attitude and arrogance. Unusual from a red telling you, they cannot serve you food. Shame because the food is actually nice. On the pricey side.

An early Saturday evening on a rare sunny day but not too busy. Staff were friendly and attentive, except what appeared to be a manager/supervisor. Skinny guy with dark hair and attitude, who didnt really like being asked to do anything like supply a pint to me. 2 pints (£11.80), a Pepsi (£2.80), the Salmon dish (£25) and a Chicken (£17) burger, totalling £61. Food was nice enough and the chicken burger had 2 small fillets with a small portion of fries. The Salmon was a single slim piece with potatoes and a nice sauce. Just the typical modern day prices we pay for not great amounts of service and food.

Beautiful evening at the Nines on Sunday 1st Sept. 10 of us dining and the place was obviously packed but the service was impeccable. All the food was so tasty. Absolutely faultless. We asked for a few adjustments and they were easily accommodated. My wife and I had the chicken and it was 10/10. There was a range of other dishes ordered and all spoke highly of the food. I also tried the roast beef (pink), Honestly it was amazing. I had the pork belly for starters along with the broccoli tempura. Sticky toffee pudding to finish. If you havnt been and are thinking of trying the Nines then take this as your sign!! Do it. You wont be disappointed 👌🏼.

The. Nines is in a perfect location in Bangor. Stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms over looking the seafront. We were really impressed with the room & bathroom. Very spacious, comfortable and had everything you need. View was an added bonus. Staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant area is beautifully decorated and again has lovely views. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay her again.

Popped in for a drink , having walked from Holywood. Used the bathroom facilities first , unkempt with toilet roll on the floor , in the basins and generally messy. No soap in dispenser. Informed staff but disinterested. Ordered a bottle of wine and a portion of chips . The small portion of skinny fries was practically thrown at us ; the waitress never spoke . We had to go and ask for a plate, cutlery , sauce and napkins . Sadly would not entice us to return

The Nines is a delightful place overlooking the sea and harbour and easy walking distance from the town centre. We were treated really well by all the staff we met, and Stephen Patterson, the manager was very generous when we had minor snags due to renovation work. The completed work looks really good and the rest should be finished in a few weeks. Our warmest thanks go to Stephen and all his lovely staff. We can highly recommend this hotel.

First time here and we enjoyed a lovely meal in relaxing surroundings. We found a cosy little window seat and enjoyed the view. Good range to chose from on menu. Would recommend, well worth a visit and would be suitable for a family meal out.

Very probably the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. We were told upon booking our glutton free requirements were noted. Upon arrival we were told we could either eat what was on the menu (very little glutton free) or leave. We left.
