Cheap, traditional motel, old facilities. The room heating is difficult to adjust, the reception and breakfast restaurant are in a separate area, some breakfast food cannot be taken by yourself, but it is worth the price

This hotel is remarkably maintained. The painter should get an award for how good the walls are everywhere. There are no chips and dings and aspects of age anywhere in the hotel. They are to be commended for that. That being said this is a pretty typical country inn and suites with the typical free breakfast. The refrigerator at breakfast had boiled eggs slices of cheese, cream cheese and fresh milk so that was nice. Next-door is a Japanese grill restaurant on the left side of the hotel, which was convenient and tasty. All in all a nice stay.

One pillow case that appeared to have not been changed before we arrived is the only negative thing to mention about The Bangor Inn. This hotel was like an oasis in the desert of our travels! A great breakfast, and everything was clean and comfortable, including the CARPET, which is a big deal. I was actually comfortable walking barefoot, which I usually don't do in a hotel. The staff were VERY friendly, helpful, smiling and just professional! Where did you find these people? Bangor Inn will always be our first choice to stay in this area of Maine. Should definitely be rated closer to a 4 star hotel, not the 2 that is listed.

This was my second stay at this older and well-priced property that continues to be extraordinarily well maintained and spotless. Hotel staffers are professional and welcoming. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom is smallish but adequate, with good water pressure and towels of adequate quality. Room lighting could be improved but there are sufficient outlets for charging, etc. Halls can be a bit noisy. And while the hotel is well located, outside security – the back entrance was unlocked – was a bit troubling. A real plus is a hot, extensive and filling breakfast served by two friendly ladies who kept everything well stocked. We’re in Bangor a couple of times a year and we will be repeat customers.

Staying @ the Bangor Inn & Sweets was a pleasant stay for us. The rooms were clean and the price was reasonable. The staff were amazing. The breakfast delicious . Thanks for directions to Camden .We will recommend you and would stay with you again . Cheers Therese

What a gem! The staff are so gracious and friendly. The building is dated BUT the room was spotless and large. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Cannot praise this place enough. From now on, this is where I will be staying on any overnight trip to Bangor.

Our accessible room was very clean, comfy beds, good A/C, fridge, micro, coffee maker, nice bathroom. Wonderful hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, beans, bananas, watermelon, yogurt, juice, waffles, toast & muffins, cereal. Outstanding value, highly recommend.

there suites are actually two adjoining units we reserved a "suite "based on the photos we where expecting a couch in one of the rooms as i had remote work to do, not three beds. when asked about the misrepresentation reception only replied we have no couches The units are ok if not outdated receptacle need to be replaced as usb chargers kept falling out

Rooms were a bit outdated but honestly they were super clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfy and the staff were fantastic! Super nice and accommodating. The breakfast was really good. The price was super reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in town. Will be staying here anytime we come to Bangor. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
