Booked a River veiw pool villa suite for 2 nights, the price was around 27,000 baht. The room was quiet and nice, the river view was beautiful but not very private. The outdoor swimming pool was quite small. When the 2 adjacent rooms in the villa played in the water, everyone could hear and see each other. The room on the second floor had only a bedroom and bathroom. It was less beautiful and interesting than I thought from the pictures. The service and value for money compared to other 5-star hotels were much lower. The staff was very slow. On the first day of arrival, other hotels usually have a turn-down service with chocolate or other cute local snacks when you come back from eating. But here, after eating at the hotel restaurant, I waited for more than 1 hour for my food and it took more than 2 hours to finish eating. When I came back, it still hadn't been done. So I told them not to do it because I wanted to rest. Which is actually not a necessary service, but the hotel informed us that it was available and when I stayed at other places, I liked this service because I thought it was cute. On the second day, they did it for me when I went to eat with 2 small bottles of bael fruit juice. I ate at the hotel's restaurant for 2 days because the hotel is quite far from other places, making it difficult to travel. The food is very expensive when compared to the quality and taste, which is very ordinary. Nothing is delicious at all, and the wait is very long. I have stayed and eaten at Sala Ayutthaya 2 times and Sala Rattanakosin 1 time, and the food tastes better than this. This time, I was very disappointed with Sala. I probably won't dare to try staying at any other Sala for a long time.
