The hotel is quite simple, however the kind and friendly staff make your stay perfect. In the kitchen and the bar they do their best to let you Enjoy your stay. The food is good

Definitely one of the better hotel stops on our trip. Bit of a rabbit warren of rooms, but very comfortable, unusually quiet air conditioning, lovely staff, and really nice food! The chef was very chatty, and takes great pride in the food he’s putting out (and rightly so!). Would stay again.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Orient in Bandarawela. Die Unterkunft war sauber, gepflegt und bot alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das sehr gute Abendessen und Frühstück, die nicht nur reichhaltig, sondern auch geschmacklich hervorragend waren. Das gesamte Team war außerordentlich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machte. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen und gut umsorgt. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse für alle, die in Bandarawela eine saubere Unterkunft mit hervorragender Küche und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft suchen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, das sofort auf Fragen oder Anregungen reagiert. Hervorzuheben unser Guide Thilak, mit dem wir einen Ausflug in eine Teeplantage gemacht haben. Und der Chefkoch beim Live-Cooking war spitze.

Very nice and helpful staff, the dinner and breakfast buffet was very big with an excellent selection of curries (other more tourist friendly food options are usually not as good in Sri Lanka but eating local specialties is the better choice anyways). The shower was especially big and the beds were nice. We had a very well working ac and a nice view. It’s a good 3 star hotel with very courteous staff!

This hotel was very nice. The food was really good (we were with a big Dutch group and they even prepared a Dutch meal, which was very nice). The hotel is clean and the rooms are just fine. We even got an upgrade to the beautiful suite. The staff was very nice.
