Location is strategic, mineral water is not provided and shower problem. My room get small mirror. .

Very bad condition. TV broken, the toilet waa very dirty, leaking from the ceiling, broken socket, hard pillow and the bedsheet smelly.

There are some leaking at the ceiling area and you can see lot of watermark there and also holes. The bathroom can consider clean however due to the leak not suitable for people who want to stay more than 1 night.. At middle of night also you can hear the noise that not sure from where.. quite disturbing.. socket power also not functioning

Event organisers - please NEVER recommend this OYO Bangi Gateway Hotel to your attendees. In July 2023, I followed the recommendation by the organiser of an international conference to book this hotel. Because the conference and organisers were reputable I did not check the reviews beforehand (otherwise I would always check). I booked for 5 nights via Agoda. After checking in and facing a whole lot of problems on my first night, which included a burst shower pipe (needing a room change), clogged sink, general uncleanliness (tissues on floor, dirty toilets), lack of amenities (no in-room kettle nor ironing board, no toilet paper, no hairdryer), and the worst of all, a totally sleepless night due to a very itchy bed, I had no choice but to change hotels to a nearby one. I travel fairly often and this is the first time I ever need to change hotels. It was extremely disruptive. I am still trying to get a refund for the 4 nights I did not stay - could not (!) stay due to the extremely unbearable conditions. While Agoda did try to help me, it is their very own booking model that caused this issue. If I had booked with the hotel directly, I was told that I would get my refund easily. So this really left me with a bad taste with using Agoda in future. Ultimately, the OYO hotel chain takes the blame as they refused to refund. The boss of Bangi Gateway Hotel was at first apologetic and said he will do his best to get me my partial refund, but he then ignored my calls and messages without any further update. The only person I could credit at this point is the hotel lobby staff member, who at least tried, to the best of his limited capabilities, to resolve the issue of my first room and then my partial refund situation. I will keep finding consumers' rights avenues to seek my rightful refund. While I do this, I will also be sharing my story across platforms. (I am willing to update my story should I receive the refund.) This hotel should not be operating, given the tonnes of negative reviews about the lack of hygiene (including complaints of bed bugs), peace, and amenities. OYO and the hotel need to understand that a 2-star hotel rating does not mean unclean and broken facilities - there still needs to be a minimum standard to adhere to, which they failed repeatedly and yet are allowed to operate. I tolerated so many of the issues, but the itchy bed and sleepless night was the last straw - I was developing a headache from being kept up all night, and I knew I wouldn't be able to function at work/conference if I stayed any longer. What's the point of staying at a hotel if I can't even get a good night's rest there?
