We had a wonderful three-night stay at Banchory Lodge Hotel. The property is full of charm, beautifully located, and offers a serene, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was exactly what we hoped for—comfortable, cosy, and elegant. The breakfast and bar were excellent, and a special thanks to Mia, whose warmth and kindness made our mornings even more delightful. All in all, we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Highly recommended.

Fabulous, peaceful and restful stay at Banchory Lodge. Terrific food (garlic fries are a revelation), fabulous service with attentive staff, clean rooms and the grounds are spectacular. Staff were particularly helpful, we needed a lift to our car which we had left on the EV charger in a nearby car park and the manager took us over despite how busy it was. Highly recommend a visit and get if possible get a room with river view.

Went here for a wedding in Banchory and had the best time ever. Food was sublime, service was excellent and bed (though I slept in a sofa bed) was very comfy! The view looked amazing of the river and we saw some salmon flying from the water. Would love to go back!

Such a warm welcome with easy check in. Our room was lovely and with a terrace. Our bed was so comfy too.Spotlessly clean, the food and choices were delicious. Service given by all was extremely good. Kyle Callum Carol Diana and India so efficient and caring. Definitely will be returning soon.

Arrived with my partner, mum dad aunt and uncle. For tea and refreshments after a funeral. Refreshments were lovely. As we arrive the staff went over and above for my aunt whom needed ramps put in place for accessing the building and the room . On way out they also went over and above to help her exit. Unfortunately at that point my mum stumbled and fell .. they again helped with ice water and a chair. I cant thank you guys enough for being so helpful. Myself and partner will definitely be popping in when next up that way .. I promise to leave the oldies at home . Lol. X

Went for Dinner with my husband and the cheapest bottle of wine and 3 G&T,s £188.00 . £12.00 starters and £22.00 ceasers salad. 5 Star prices for a 3 star experience and average Food. Will not be back. This hotel is trying to be something it will never be and is not Sustainable.

Wonderful stay again . busy as it was easter but efficient service.staff extremely polite even though it was very busy . lovely selection of whiskies and gins lovely food and fantastic setting . my wife is waiting for knee replacement surgery but lovely walks along river

Enjoyed a lunch here looking out over the river. The food was nice and the service good. Was a little on the expensive side but the surroundings made it worth it. Would be nice to come back in the summer and enjoy the outside seating in the sun or in the evening as the river is stunning.
