Stayed at the Ashlea for four nights as a base to attend the annual Cropredy Festival. We have been staying here for many years As always it has been a perfect stay. Clean and comfortable with the best hosts and the best breakfasts with a great choice. Strongly recommended and probably the best guest house in Banbury.

A little gem of a place. Hosts were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. 10 minutes walk into town. Breakfast was great, served promptly and piping hot. Sausages were tip top, 😋. We will most definitely be returning.

This was our fourth stay and the guest house is every bit as good as our first - spotlessly clean, bedrooms comfy with everything you need, breakfast offering everything you might want and friendly hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed at Banbury to break up our very long journey to Dorset. So glad we stayed at the Ashlea Guest House. What a lovely place and just 10 minutes walk into Banbury centre which is well worth visiting, with its many shops, eateries, pubs etc. The onsite parking at the guest house was a definate plus, with ample space for larger cars . Our room was large, clean and well equiped, and the super king sized bed was very comfortable. We had the full English breakfast, which was very good. Julie and Ayman were very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend. Thank you both for a very enjoyable stay. Carolyn and Terry

We enjoyed our stay at Ashlea Guest House. Our room was well appointed, the hosts were lovely and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The guest house is only a 15minute walk downhill to the train station with frequent trains to Oxford, which was very useful.

Hello Chief! Locations excellent for town and famous cakes. Ride a cock-horse and Cotswolds on doorsteps. Plenty clean - we are a large family - and this meets needs. Soon I move to Boar's Hill resortwhen damn fool council pulls finger out. Many fine eatings place - bushmeat burger vans...I thank you.

Can understand why this is the number 1 guest house in Banbury. Warm welcome by the owners, room clean and modern and an excellent size. Good choices at breakfast. Ample parking on site and just a 10 minute walk into Banbury where there is a good choice of restaurants. Look forward to staying again in the future

Stayed here for one night whilst working away. The room was lovely, bed was comfy and everything was very clean. It was a warm night, so the fan in the room was a most welcome addition. The owner was very pleasant and couldn’t have been more helpful. I chose not to have breakfast for no other reason than I wasn’t hungry, but he even offered to make me a sandwich to take with me. I highly recommend this guest house and would definitely book again the next time I’m in the area.
