Highly recommend this unique boutique hotel. We had a beautiful one night stay at Blackwell House in July. The attention to detail and service is impeccable, it's a luxury stay. We stayed in the Blue Room which had a huge ensuite with a freestanding bath and huge comfortable bed. I would recommend booking dinner and breakfast. The dinner was gorgeous! The highlight was a fennel soup with warm homemade brown bread. Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was really special, probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I had granola yogurt followed by a salmon bagel with fresh still hot croissant in between, to die for! I've recommended it to everyone. Can't wait to go back one day.

Soggiorno fantastico in famiglia Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di trascorrere quattro notti incantevoli presso questo magnifico boutique hotel, un'autentica gemma immersa nella serena campagna dell'Irlanda del Nord. L'ambiente, intriso di un'atmosfera squisitamente accogliente e familiare, si distingue per la sua raffinata eleganza, dove ogni minimo dettaglio è curato con meticolosa attenzione. La colazione irlandese, un vero piacere per il palato, è stata sapientemente preparata dai proprietari, Edele e Alessio, i quali hanno dimostrato una premura eccezionale nel soddisfare persino le più specifiche richieste dei nostri ragazzi. Alessio ci ha deliziato con il suo squisito pollo al barbecue, mentre Edele ha preparato uno stufato a dir poco delizioso. La gestione impeccabile e la grande professionalità dei signori Rampa rendono questa piccola perla dell'Irlanda del Nord un luogo davvero speciale. Grazie ai loro preziosi consigli, abbiamo potuto esplorare meraviglie come il Selciato del Gigante, il suggestivo viale alberato di Game of Thrones, la vibrante città di Belfast con il suo storico mercato e il Muro della Pace, l'incantevole Gosford Forest Park e l'imponente Castello di Hillsborough. Une parenthèse enchantée dans un endroit caché presque secret. Une expérience hors du commun dans un cadre intimiste où le temps se met en pause pour nous offrir un moment de détente où seul compte l’instant présent. On nous invite à profiter et à apprécier, et on oublie d’être des clients pour être simplement des invités à la table d’hôtes merveilleux. La gentillesse est si naturelle ici que l’on se sent véritablement choyés tout du long avec de petites attentions qui changent la donne. Et gustativement, c’est un régal, pour les yeux et les papilles bien sûr. On ne veut pas partir et surtout on veut y revenir !

We spent 4 nights (pay for 3) and ate in every night. The hosts (Edele and Alessio) are brilliant, very friendly and efficient at everything. The food is very well cooked by Edele and well presented; wines reasonably priced and nothing is too much trouble. We actually ate each dinner in a different place - once outside and the others in different parts of the house. The cottage rooms are very good with comfortable beds and nice bath tub. The gardens are beautifully kept. It was Wimbledon final on one day and Alessio set up a huge TV for us. They welcome dogs and arranged an evening of Irish music for us one night. Thank you both.

We had a gorgeous restful weekend under the superb care of Adele and Alessio. The comfort is superb, the customer service off the chart and the food excellent. It’s been on my radar for a while but this was our first trip, certainly not our last. The glorious Northern Ireland sunshine, when it finally came, just made this a stunning weekend. Wines are very thoughtfully picked and food is really lovely quality. You always know you’re somewhere really professional when everything looks easy, even though you know it’s not! Fantastic bed and breakfast in a quiet country setting. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we had more time. The house and cottage are beautiful with every amenity you could need. Both have been tastefully updated and modernized. The beds are super comfy, and the rooms are spacious with terrific showers and soaking tubs. The grounds are especially lovely with a small pond and gardens. The food is fabulous. Don't miss the dinner option! We had delicious meals each night, in addition to wonderful, well-made breakfasts with lots of choices, including a full and tasty Irish breakfast. Edele and Alessio are gracious, welcoming hosts who provide exceptional service that allows guests to fully unwind and relax. They are both thoughtful, and their personal touch and attention to detail and hospitality make Blackwell House extra special and one of the finest bed and breakfasts we have stayed in.

Wow. Stunning little gem. We had the best stay here. Attention to detail is on point. We booked the taster menu which did not disappoint - it was exquisite. The gardens are beautiful, a real haven of peace and tranquility where we sat and had lovely drinks before dinner. The thing that makes Blackwell House so special apart from the tasteful decor throughout, exceptional food and beautiful surroundings is Alessio and Edel who work so hard in ensuring that you are made feel welcome and relaxed. Thank you for a truly relaxing break and for spoiling us so much. We will definitely be looking for a reason to be returning soon.

Beautiful place. Grounds are absolutely heaven. All fresh products. Growing own rhubarb garlic scallions strawberries etc . A Hidden gem. We had afternoon tea hosts were so attentive. You can have overnight packages. Hit tub sauna go on your bikes all available. We had a lovely time sitting in the garden having a few glasses of prosecco . Would highly recommend. Defo 5 star.
