Das Hotel gibt sich selber ***-Sterne. Leider ist es wenig ein Hotel und vielmehr eine Garni-Pension. Bei meiner Anreise wurde ich freundlich begrüßt und stellte die Frage nach einem kleinen Snack - leider gab es dort keinerlei Möglichkeit so etwas zu bekommen. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab aufgrund der Tatsache, dass ich (und die anderen Gäste) für den Zeitraum meines Aufenthaltes nur kaltes Wasser zum Duschen hatten. Da die Rezeption grundsätzlich nur bis 19.00h besetzt ist, habe ich die Notfallnummer gewählt. Dort wurde das Gespräch aber nicht entgegengenommen obwohl ich 2x eine Rückrufbitte abgesetzt haben - Ignoranz ist auch ein Weg die Probleme zu lösen. Für dieses Verhalten ziehe ich einen zweiten Stern ab. Das Zimmer war ansonsten sauber aber das Badezimmer eine Zumutung bezogen auf die Größe, Ausstattung und Renovierungsstand. Ich persönlich kann dieses Haus also nicht empfehlen, zumal es genügend Alternativen in Bamber gibt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht aber anscheinend völlig allein gelassen. Ich denke dieses Haus besitzt ein deutliches Managementproblem.

Geplant war ein Kurzaufenthalt für 3 Übernachtungen, leider entsprach das Zimmer, trotz der wirklich tollen Aussicht, nicht unseren Vorstellungen eines 3 Sterne Hotels in Deutschland. Es gab einige Mängel, die uns das Haus nach nur einer Übernachtung verlassen ließen. Dies war nach einem Gespräch und Erläuterung unserer Gründe, die offensichtlich und nachvollziehbar waren, unproblematisch möglich, verbunden mit einer Entschuldigung.

Wir hatten einen Kurzaufenthalt mit der Familie gebucht. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Kleine aber schöne und saubere Zimmer. Nettes Personal. Über Essen können wir leider nichts sagen, da wir keines genossen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Above and Beyond Service with. A View! First, the hotel reception counter is also the cake display. What a welcome! The location is a long uphill walk from the center but doable for the fit and best in sunny weather conditions. Free parking within the fenced area of the hotel in what seems like a safe and secure neighborhood. The rooms are nice sized although the bathroom very small, yet efficient. Super fresh and yummy breakfast with something for everyone. But this hotel will stand out in our memories for the wonderful panoramic view of Bamberg AND the exceptional service from Janine. You see, the Euro Cup games were one reason for our trip to Europe and watching them very important. We had inquired upon check-in about watching at the hotel should we not find a place in town. We watched the earlier game at the Brasserie with an excellent meal! Rain prompted an early taxi back. Janine had kindly left a note on our door. My husband and our travel companions, another couple, enjoyed a private viewing with one click of the "on" button on the remote. A late game in our lounge wear was so enjoyable and a holiday treat!

Das Hotel mit Restaurant ist absolut flexibel mit den Räumlichkeiten und der Bewirtung, ob alleine zum Arbeiten oder fürs Meeting, unkompliziert und liebenswertem Service, mit Blick über Bamberg und Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus - großartig!
