The hotel is approximately a 20 minute walk from the train station and is located in the old town in a picture perfect setting. We were really happy with the location as we could access all the sights and were close to restaurants, pubs, bakeries and shops. Hotel Nepomuk is comfortable and the modern interior is quite a contrast to the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming and when we departed, we were given a little takeaway bag with juice and a muffin for our trip. Overall, a beautiful town and a lovely stay at the hotel.

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer zur Straße hin gelegen, war sehr laut. Wegen der Hitze mussten wir mit geöffneten Fenster schlafen, daher wurden wir morgens gegen 5.30 Uhr von anliefernden Lieferanten aus dem Schlaf gerissen. Das Frühstück ist stark überteuert!

We stayed for 1 night along our 6-day road trip through Bavaria. Tiefgarage Geyerswörth is the closest parking available is only a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. Our room (#113) was modern and clean with a great view of the river and the City Hall downriver. The hotel is literally located on the river so access to the old town and the obsessively photographed Alten Rathaus is a mere 5-minute walk away. The staff recommended we reserve a table at their restaurant (Eckerts) for breakfast (not included) and dinner; however, there are a ton of options for dinner in town and although breakfast was perfectly fine, I'm not sure it was a very good value at -8 Euro for bread, butter, and jam... Overall, a great place to stay for a night or two while exploring Bamberg and old town!

Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt an der Regnitz. Schöner Blick aus dem Zimmer auf die Stadt. In der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts waren die Außentemperaturen sehr hoch. Das Zimmer hat keine Kliman-Anlage. Nachts war es sehr heiß im Zimmer. Nur ein Fenster hat ein Fliegengitter. Durch die Stauung der Regnitz ist es dort teilweise recht laut bei geöffnetem Fenster. Gefrühstückt haben wir bei Eckerts, direkt nebenan. Hier hat uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht überzeugt. Wir fanden es sehr teuer, z. B. ein Milchkaffee für 5,30 Euro.

Buchung war sehr gut. Über Mail und Internet. Online Check In war auch super. Check Out - ne - denn Sie wissen nicht was sie tun. Frühstück-?-Katastrophe - Abzocke und nicht angemessen. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. War aber nicht so angekommen. Also haben wir für 2 Brötchen, 1 x Butter , 1x Marmelade (jeweils kleine Gläser ) einen Orangen Saft (kleines Glas) 2 Tassen Kaffee und ein Rührei 25 EUR bezahlt. RESPEKT ! Das muss man erst mal hinbekommen. Zimmer, so klein, dass nicht mal Platz zum ablegen des Koffers war. Direkt über der Terrasse die von der Gastronomie genutzt wird. Es war bei der Hitze keine Chance ohne laute Geräusche der Gäste und ggf. Rauch das Fenster offen zu halten. Sicher nicht nochmal...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nepomuk. The hotel is located in a great location, very picturesque and an easy walk to everything. We had a car but with prior information and great directions from the hotel we easily found the parking station nearby. The hotel staff that we encountered during our stay were all very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so cannot comment but there are plenty of dining options available nearby. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious though with the windows open for the breeze we did at times get a little noise from the street below but nothing too disturbing. Overall a very enjoyable stay here.

We loved our stay at Hotel Nepomuk. The best things was the position and location of the hotel. We had fantastic views from our room, and it was quite, but in easy commute to all the best Bamberg has to offer. Bamberg is a definite favourite, and we loved walking around this beautiful city, then returning to a quiet and clean room. The room was comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot speak to the food at Hotel Nepomuk. The staff were indifferent. Some were very pleasant and others appeared a little surly. Perhaps it was the time of year. Having said that, I’d definitely stay again as we found the location to be perfect.
