The hotel is located in Baltimore city. The receptionist's service is very good👍. There are Chinese restaurants nearby. It takes about half an hour to walk to the inner harbor. You can browse various architectural styles along the way. You can walk to the nearby bus station in about one or two minutes. The train station is less than half an hour away. It's just that the hotel's facilities are very simple, but they are worthy of the hotel price. However, I personally feel that the security measures are not good. If you are a female friend, it is recommended to book carefully because the insurance facilities on the room door are broken (this was the case in the two rooms I was changed to).

Okay but not as expected! I booked this hotel because of the location proximity to our event and for affordability. We have stayed here once before. However I booked for a king bedroom and that is not what we got. We checked in later in the evening after work coming from out of town. I advised it would be a late checkin for us. The hotel attendant told us the hotel was overbooked and we got one of the remaining rooms. The bed was a double bed room that looked to be like a room that was once something else. The noise from outside was very loud as our window faced the street on the first floor. That should be more soundproof. At night, when the lights were out, you could see light coming through the door from the hallway. The bathroom looked like it used to be a closet. There was nowhere to store our luggage and no smart tv or connect to streaming. They could have provided more towels from the beginning of our stay so we wouldn’t have to ask for them. The stay was just okay. I was irritated that I didn’t get what I booked but there were no other rooms available to move to. The hotel should make sure you get what you paid for. Good for short stays downtown.

Okay place I say, everything is okay. Not great but not bad. I was worry about bugs but I have never seen. So That was good. Bed was good. No bed bug, shower and toilet works good. Location is great! So many walking distance breakfast place, nice restaurants, and CVS, 7eleven near by. Only my disappointment was no elevator, and my room was 4th floor. I don't recommend if you have bad knee. Otherwise, okay place.

I got referred by GetARoom.com when the hotel I was trying to book late was full . The agent said available rooms on the 95 corridor were booked. Suggested off several miles and found Midtown Inn . First red flag was no parking, My wife and I walked through a seedy neighborhood to check in and found the place resembled a boarding house for transients . Told my room was on 4th floor / no elevator ! Should have left but it was after 10 pm and I just drove 13hrs. Bed Looked slept in / dirty, wall paper torn off in places, No a/c , TV on and no remote to turn off. Icing on cake was smoke/fire detector was hanging and missing batteries .No phone too! so we left 15min. later. Should have taken pictures !

Awesome Solo Trip to Baltimore Midtown Inn was the perfect hotel in the perfect location for a solo traveling weekend! I would rate the Midtown Inn a 9 out of 10 based on the price paid and the location. Simple as that! Now, if you are looking for a Marriot or Hilton or even a Holiday Inn, this is not your place. The building is probably 200 years old, the floors are not level and some things could use some upkeep. But overall, the owners have done an excellent job modernizing what they could. I did not see an elevator. The room was generally clean, everything worked and the bed was comfortable. This was my first ever trip to Baltimore, and I was apprehensive based on reviews of the location. I feel that this location could not have been more perfect, a block from the 1st Washington Monument, the Peabody Institute and Library and the Walters Museum just down the road. I would be walking back from a night at Federal Hill bars after 1AM and each night I would see couples and people out sitting around the monument, talking, etc... This is an easy walk(15min...) to the upper harbor where you can grab the water taxi and get all around downtown. But I would walk the area around My Vernon too, very nice with many shops and little restaurants. The staff at check in and check out were easy and nice. I would absolutely stay here again. Just keep in mind, this is a budget hotel, not a resort. Plan accordingly based on your expectations and desires!

Good for Midtown Inn! I was originally to stay in a third floor room. I started struggling up the steps with 2 suitcases (and I'm 72 years old), when the manager moved me to a nice first floor room, at no extra charge. The room was clean & cherry. I highly recommend The Midtown Inn! There are nearby restaurants.

Near needed transportation Picked one near Amtrak station. No frills but great Indian decor. Handrails at entrance wobbly for old legs. Shower stall floor slippery for same reason. Needs non-slip surface
