On June 5th, 2025, my wife decided to book a trip to Baltimore for our 35th wedding anniversary July 7th, after I book the reservation around 7pm that evening I received the conformation email, and I realized the dates were wrong. it was for that evening of the June 5th. I started calling the hotel that night to let them know of the error. I call 4 times that evening and 17 times the next day and not once did anyone answer, finally I was able to talk to a person, told them of the mistake along with why there isn't anyone answering the phone. after explaining the situation, he told he would have call me back. I received the call back that afternoon which he informed me that he would have to get the manager to call me and I would expect a call from them the next day by noon. The call never came about, and I was charged the full amount for not showing up. Even though I made a mistake I felt we could have resolved or at least give me the courtesy of a call back. I felt that if someone would have answered the phone once I started call that night, I could have made an adjustment on the dates.

I stayed here for 10 days in early June. It's a charming hotel, in the middle of all the Inner Harbor hustle, and that is its major highlight. You are walking distance from Little Italy, Fells Point, Camden Yards, the convention center, etc. and it's great. One issue is that you are also close to Pier 6 Pavilion. We had some nights on the weekend when concerts were being held, and the bass sound permeated through our room until the concert ended, sometimes in the eary morning hours. Also, the street noise, and noise from nearby rooms, is considerable. It is not a quiet hotel. But, this is what is expected when you stay in the middle of a bustling metro area in an older building, and has pros and cons. One thing that could be improved, however, is the maintenance and housekeeping. The fitted sheet was too small for the mattress and kept sliding off, and the shower conditioner bottle was empty. There was some peeling drywall/paint in the room, and the bathroom door was warped and had to be pulled shut forcefully. In summary, I think it's a good place to stay due to character of the building and location, but more upkeep is needed for it to be at its best.

1: the automatic front door was inoperative making it difficult for my wife to enter with her walker 2: there was no one at the front desk for checkin and after 5 minutes we searched for the hotel phone number to call. 3: the pillows were overstuffed and hard making sleeping uncomfortable. 4:the room we were given looked over the HVAC cooling towers and the continual machine noise made sleeping nearly impossible. 5: there was no tv menu so we had no idea what programs were available. 6: there was no instructions as to logging on to the hotel internet so we had to use the Steakhouse free Wi-Fi.

Terrible experience — avoid this place! We found bed bugs in our room. They did move us to a different bed, but then gave us a room that was already occupied so we had to go down again and finally get a new room. They also charge us an extra fee of 30$ for early check-in, which we were fine with paying, but they charged us $50 instead. When we asked about it, they gave no explanation. Later that same day, we were charged an additional $81 without any reason. The front desk said the charge would be refunded, but we still haven’t received the money back. They’ve stopped responding completely.

Hotel needs updating desperately! Breakfast offered for a price was terrible. On the positive side, the staff was lovely and the location was outstanding!

Yankees road trip
Friendly staff from the moment you walk in. Very easy to walk everywhere and its right on the Harbor. Definitely will stay again next time I'm in town
