We visited The Owenmore just before Easter and is was amazing. Thank you @Kevin Foley for helping with reservation and a table with stunning view. Everything we ate was incredible in terms of taste and presentation. Good selection of wines. While it is not always easy to get a booking, stick with it as well worth the experience. Great ambience and service!

What a special place to stay and explore. We had a lovely room with a view of the river. It was so peaceful. The grounds are wonderful to walk and quite expansive. We stayed one night and wished we stayed longer. There is a lot to do on property. We ate in the pub which was fun. The mussels were absolutely perfect. Breakfast was amazing. There was not one thing they could have added to the buffet or the hot menu. We had wonderful service in the pub and at breakfast.

An all time favorite for us! We absolutely love the Ballynahinch. It is exceptional all round. It is our second time there. We came back because we loved it so much, and the second stay was even better thanthe first. The peace, quiet and stunning natural surrounding of the Ballynahinch is like no other. It is a retreat and a haven that is not easily found in our (too) busy modern world. At the same time, it offers exceptional luxury and comfort. We booked the classic room this time (classic riverside last time), and the room far exceeded our expectations (size, comfort, views). The breakfaast and dining are excellent. There is a wide variety of activities on the resort and the location is perfect (central to all the main attractions of Connemara). We wish it was closer (we live in Canada) so we could go more often. Despite the distance, this is a place we will come back to again and again for sure.

The service was extraordinary. What you'd expect when paying this amount of money. The staff were all super friendly and professional. The food was great. The main restaurant for dinner is an experience. Breakfast even better. Top notch. Rooms beautifully decorated. We did the sauna for 2 (60 euros total). This was fun. Great setting. It gets so hot that you can hop int eh lake which we did despite the frigid temps outside. Its a great place to walk, ride bikes, have a drink by the large # of fireplaces, hear yourself think. I highly recommend.

The food, the staff, the room, the amenities, the grounds were all outstanding. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, quiet, and perfect. The breakfast was delicious, full of variety, very fresh, and yummy. The most exceptional experience was the falconry with Jason. He is delightful and attentive. His knowledge, skills, and ability to share the experience with others was absolutely fantastic. It was even more fun and fascinating than we could have imagined! We have been traveling in Ireland for 16 days. Jason and the falconry were the very best activity we have enjoyed. And Ballynahinch was our favorite spot! We want to go back already!

A fabulous stay once again, it's the little things they do! Staff were all lovely and attentive. Fire always on and adds to the smell and atmosphere all day, the radio was on softly on Lyric FM when we went into our room - what a subtle but fab touch!, the place is spotless, found the food service excellent. There is a gorgeous new outdoor area overlooking the river, just heaven to sit there with a coffee or a drink. And we tried their new outdoor saunas..loved it, and it's really tastefully done. Special mention to both Sharon and a young man (from Italy/France?) at reception, and to Pat at breakfast service - he's super.

Stunning hotel in a heavenly setting. We are not easily impressed but this hotel is in a league of its own. Everything from the outstanding restaurants to the team of people looking after us was five star. If you’re looking for luxury this is it.

I cannot say enough positive comments about this extraordinary estate. The service was unlike anything I’ve experienced in my 50 years and the grounds and hotel were impeccable. After 8 days of dragging my four kids (10-17) and 2, 80yo grandparents through Ireland, this was just what the doctor ordered to end our trip. I absolutely cannot leave a more positive review. Outstanding. Superb. Excellent. Way Better than Glenlo Abbey that I was looking at (we passed it on our way here- it is in the hustle of Galway and this is in the country) cheers and thank you to all the people who made our few days exceptional.
