I hated everything about it

Not even a value for the cheap price. Staying at a mom & pop motel, expectations aren't really high. Taking this into consideration, I'm willing to let a lot slide. This place was so dirty. Bedding and pillows were incredibly stained. So much so that I drove to Walmart and bought new sheets to use during my stay. Every inch of this place was dirty. We bought some cleaning supplies and scrubbed the bathroom floor and shower. I'm posting a before and after pic of the bathroom floor, as well as pics of blood spots on the pillows and mattress. We also cleaned the walls and door as they were covered in grime and other stains. Really gross. The property is also littered with broken microwaves, mattresses, and mini fridges. It looks like the set of Sanford and Son. I hate commenting on all of this because the staff was super pleasant.

DO NOT STAY HERE First off, thought that we checked in okay. The lady from the office had our key ready. She was hanging out with the obviously long term guests. She went into the room first to make sure that it was cleaned. We have different opinions as to what clean is. I have pictures. Nasty room. Tub was dirty and mildew. Brown water came out of the shower. Although I didn’t see any bugs, I made sure not to leave anything on the floor. There was a refrigerator that had a branch holding the stuff on the shelf. I managed to fall asleep, when we got woken up at 10:45pm with banging on the door. It was a different woman from the office. She wanted us to come down to the office to give her our ID. We were already asleep in our pajamas. Heck no I won’t be going down to the office with you. Not our problem that the other woman didn’t check us in properly. She let me email her a copy of my license. Picture in the room was hung upside down. Crazy place. Run, do not walk.

It's cheap so keep your expectations in check It was just a few of us bikers wanting a cheap place to stay. The facilities are old and we didn't care about that. The main problem I had was the cleanliness and the smell of our room. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and walls. The shower hadn't been cleaned in Lord knows how long. Cob webs and dead bugs. Unknown splatters of "liquid" on the walls. Everything in the kitchen was filthy including inside the fridge and stove. They didn't have enough towels but did get us more. Woman at front counter was very nice at least.

Ok I have stayed here previously, it needs a little updating and was cleaner on previous trips. There was a dirty coffee cup in our room and coffee left in the pot.

Wonderful, clean & comfortable classic motel This place is a gem, a vintage midcentury motel that's been well-maintained and also features modern conveniences. I try to patronize locally & independently owned classic motels and this place was everything I could have hoped for: clean, comfortable and spacious. Fridge, microwave, flatscreen TV, wifi...it was all good. Fabulous roomy tiled shower. Plush towels and crisp linen. I would definitely stay here again.
