Balibo Fort Hotel

I visited last week and had the best 3 nights in Timor-Leste. The bed was very comfortable, the food and service was excellent. I enjoyed the sunrise in the morning, visiting the museum and walking tour in the afternoon, campfire and movie at night. I would recommend ordering the pizza and local food. Do spend at least 3 days 2 nights to enjoy the outdoor activities too.

Denizio from Dili. I made friends with Service staff, Filomena. She is very friendly and kind to the guest with her attentiveness. I am also impressed with the security guard and the safety box in the hotel room. This is the Best Hotel in Timor-leste!

The room was beautiful, the service was superb,the food was delicious and the setting just delightful. the sunsets were as magnificent as I have seen anywhere. I was there for two nights as part of a study tour. It could not have been a better experience. I highly recommend as a place to stay.

This is a great spot to stay, cool breezes, great service and lots to see and do. The cabin style rooms are comfortable with a terrace to watch the sun go down (or come up). We ate outdoors- including breakfasts- overlooking the valleys and the market. Most enjoyable. The small museum is very informative and a moving experience.

Great views, great rooms, great food, great staff. Great firepit and the pool is brilliant too. This is an interesting area to visit and Balibo Fort Hotel is an excellent pick for accommodation. Check out the history of the place in the museum near the front gate.

The ambience at BFH is a perfect getaway to reflect and recharge. We were on a trip back from Maliana and made a stopover to break the journey before heading back to Dili. The place is neat, clean and greenery with lots of plants, and trees. The staffs were friendly. Got a free cup of coffee, courtesy of the manager! We did not stay overnight but am looking forward to plan a getaway with friends and loved ones.

Our 2024 Study Tour had the most relaxing and enriching experience at Balibó Fort Hotel this and every year. As regular visitors, it is so gratifying to see the improvements in the infrastructure and services each time. There is nothing more beautiful and rejuvenating than the experience of watching the sun go down whilst enjoying a cocktail, followed by a delightful dinner and a movie of your choice projected on the outdoor screen. A big "obrigadu barak" to Erin and the wonderful Balibó Fort Hotel staff. We can't wait to be back next year!
