The St. Regis Bali Resort

The 5 nights and 6 days at the St. Regis Bali Resort left me with a deep and unforgettable impression! The service is superb! The hygiene is clean and tidy! The breakfast is especially rich and delicious! Especially when checking out on the last morning, the warm and fluent Chinese of Ms. Zeng Lili at the front desk made me feel like home... It's great! I will stay at the St. Regis again next time I come.

Stayed in the Orchid Suite for two nights. The price is only one-third of the villa, and the interior area is more spacious (see the official website floor plan for details). The balcony is very large and has a partial sea view. It is drier and more private than the villa. The breakfast is great, with unlimited lobster (huge lobster), omelette, steak, and foie gras; the buffet area is different every day, including Western, Indonesian and Asian specialties, and the seasoning and service are very good. The smoked swordfish belly is very plump, better than the salmon sashimi and tuna sashimi provided at the same time. The beach is excellent, with few people, white sand, and clean sea. There are no reefs and seaweed to destroy the landscape. The staff enthusiastically provide ice water towels and sunscreen. I tried a few cocktails without any overturning. On the last night, I experienced the seaside restaurant. The set menu can be borrowed from the online evaluation that "the price of 1,000 yuan is 3,000 yuan quality". I chatted with the manager for a long time about the restaurant concept. Thanks to the huge back garden of the hotel, the restaurant uses a lot of fresh spices for seasoning. The main dish of grouper was impressive. The fish meat was so fresh that you can see the rainbow color, and the taste was delicate. The seasoning used a lot of herbs and some fruits, vegetables and kelp, which complemented each other. St. Regis is suitable for enjoying the hotel facilities alone without other travel arrangements. I ordered countless coffees, teas and fruit baskets in two days. The butler was very enthusiastic and gave a 100k tip in the end. The guy gave some hotel logo items as souvenirs. The hotel facilities are well maintained. Some details show the age but it does not affect the use experience. Overall, it is worth a 5-star recommendation.

It is said that you can go directly into the sea for snorkeling experience, but no free equipment is provided. Fortunately, we brought our own masks and breathing tubes. But I found that the tide rose from noon to night. I tried to swim into the sea, but there was no way. The waves were too big. I could only play on the beach and sunbathe. The best time for snorkeling is before 7 am. In short, St. Regis, as the last stop of the trip, perfectly meets the needs of lying flat. But if you want to enjoy a variety of activities in a hotel, almost none of them are included in the room price. In addition, the lagoon villa with direct access to the saltwater swimming pool is recommended. Otherwise, it is a basic room type. I personally think that the pool villa is a little tasteless. The price is doubled that of the basic room type, but you basically go to the public area swimming pool to enjoy it instead of just the small pool in the room. I stayed here more than a decade ago and had great memories, but I was a little disappointed when I stayed here again, especially the facilities. I found out that the door lock was broken when I checked out after staying for a few days.

The hotel is old but not outdated, the service is very good, the breakfast variety is not very wide but the exquisiteness makes me want to eat again. It is a very high-quality hotel.
