Namaste Bungalows

Etablissement qui a visiblement vieilli... Les équipements sont vétustes et les bungalows "âgés", mal insonorisés Des chiens errants et leurs aboiements perturbent les nuits ! Point positif : la bienveillance indonésienne est bien présente et tout le personnel est aux petits soins.

Namaste est l'hotel partenaire de l'agence de voyage Huwans. Il est très bien si vous séjournez dans un des 10 bungalows, c'est beaucoup moins bien si vous séjournez dans une des 10 chambres, qui se situent en contrebas du restaurant, accessibles via des escaliers d'un autre temps, avec certains nez de marche cassés, donc casse-gu.....la chambre n'est pas du tout "deluxe", très sommaire, avec une vue "sur la jungle" très quelconque. Pas de lampe de chevet, pas de moustiquaire, un jour d'un bon cm sous la porte (vous priez alors pour que les moustiques ne trouvent pas l'entrée). On a l'impression passé le restaurant, que l'on descent dans un hotel d'un autre temps. Si vous restez au niveau de la piscine, vous ne vous doutez pas du reste. Aucune isolation entre les chambres, vous prenez pas à contre coeur à la conversation des voisins. Les chambres semblent être louées à des gens de passage, sur 4 nuits passées, 3 voisins différents. C'était loin de l'hotel de charme que l'on s'était imaginé pour finir notre séjour en Indonésie. Pour un hotel francophone, personne à l'accueil ne parle français. Les employés sont certes gentils et très sympa, mais cela ne fait pas tout. Quand vous prenez un chauffeur à la journée, seulement 3 spots sont possibles. Les routes sont très défoncées et se déplacer prend du temps. Nusa penida n'est pas une destination si tu veux simplement te reposer de ton séjour en Indonésie, pour finir en beauté.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel at the end of September beginning of October 2023. The staff is attentive, polite, pleasant and very available (like everywhere in Indonesia). The swimming pool is nice and clean. The dining room overlooking the jungle is very bright, calm and spacious. I had my evening meals there, the food is good and the quality/price ratio is interesting, but be careful because the young girl who collects never gives change. The room is certainly spacious, but is very dated, it is cleaned daily, but the very old bathroom is not very clean although cleaned every day. There is no double partition and the heat of the day forced me to leave the air conditioning running to have a cool room in the evening, which is a shame. The price which initially seemed interesting to me (53€/night with breakfast) is in fact quite high, I found a lot cheaper for a lot cleaner on the island with the same services. The only big advantage I found there is that the club where I did 4 dives is right opposite. I would happily return to the island but not to this hotel. I do not recommend this place.

What a bad surprise when arriving at this hotel!! It starts with the reception toilets, old and dirty, then to reach our room, passing the deckchairs and pool beds, also old and full of stains of all kinds, arriving in the room: walls whose paint is peeling , holed curtain with garden hose rod, bed canopy filled with stains and sewer smell. In summary you cannot feel comfortable there far from it!!! The lack of maintenance of this establishment is blatant and we wonder if there is still management. The worst experience during my 2 weeks in Bali

Excellent welcome, beautiful room in an independent bungalow, pretty swimming pool and very good restaurant with some French surprises like rillettes, tapenade and Ricard. Well located towards the western beaches. Extremely reasonable prices

Friendly welcome, in a very pleasant setting in authentic Bali. Staff who take great care of customers, always available with a smile. Hearty and varied breakfast. Excellent cuisine.
