Harsono Boutique Resort Bali

If I could I would give this hotel 10*! Thanks to wonderful staff I had very special and amazing birthday! We stayed 1 week in this beautiful secluded hotel. Rooms were very spacious with beautiful balinise wooden artistic furnitures. Cleanlisness 10*, bed comfortability 10*, always smiling and helpful staff 10*. I wish we could stay much longer! Thank you for all the effort and making our holidays magical and unforgettable! ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful laid out resort with lovely atmosphere , friendly staff, very service oriented, a wonderful garden with a river - even more ambient after sunset. We had a 1 bedroom villa with private pool. This was very comfortable, good large bed and furniture, large modern bathroom with rainshower. We may very well come back!!! Some things to improve: Construction work was a little annoying Location /not much in the area - but we used Grab app which was very easy and cheap Loved the taste and presentation of the food, also the staff were wonderful - but found several of the evening menu choices not so interesting. Felt the menu could be improved. For us, relaxing a few days after an intercontinentsl flight, this was the perfect start to our holiday!

We were surprised how beautiful and big the villas were. Very soothing and harmonious colours used, wood, white & beige. Huge bathroom, comfortable bed, very clean. We got upgraded to two bedroom villa which had very big pool just above the river. Reception staff was excellent, everyone there seemed to like their job and was friendly and eager to help. It's very quiet area, so you get to hear the nature and sleep well. They do not provide complimentary shuttle service, like most Balinese hotels/villas. I would either add free shuttle to Sanur beach few times a day or lower the driver fee significantly, as now the fee is 250 000 rp one way to Sanur. Blue bird taxi takes just under 100 000 rp for the same trip. It takes about 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic. The location of the resort is nice also if you want to visit the zoo or a bird park, driving time again 15-20 min. Breakfast area is nice, just next to the river. It seemed like restaurant was understaffed, took a long time to serve and not that much selection. I would definitely let customers to have free refill of coffee during breakfast and would add more different fruits and juices on the list. Dinner list would need some improvement too. Harsono was excellent value, beautifully designed, welcoming. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend to book it without hesitation!

Superb place, attentive staff, welcoming, pleasant, smiling. Room with beautiful private pool, spacious, clean. High standing residence. Superb restaurant with the same staff and with more than good meals. I recommend for a relaxing stay!

If you are looking for a relaxing, chilled out break far from the madding crowd this is the place. We spent six nights at Harsono and the place is immaculate. We had a private pool villa which is definitely the way to go. We loved the whole experience from being greeted by Kardek at reception to Putri and other staff in the restaurant. It was also great to see the number of young trainees getting their start in hospitality. The location takes full advantage of the landscape at the confluence of two rivers and credit also goes to the garden maintenance staff. Be wary if you don’t like too many steps. Also be aware that Harsono is a fair distance away from any other restaurants and activity centres but it’s a only about a half hour drive to Ubud. Overall a memorable stay.
