A really nicely furnished room in itself, and at first glance everything was great. Later, we noticed a few things: -The rooms are open at the top, which of course makes it easy for insects and the heat to get in. The mosquito net is purely aesthetic, as it's full of holes and too small to keep the bed dry. Furthermore, the heat builds up underneath because it's not a functional net. And the air conditioning isn't powerful enough to cool the open space sufficiently (set to the lowest temperature and highest level). But it was bearable for one night. What was unbearable, however, was the noise level at night. My boyfriend and I sleep with earplugs every night. Out of habit and comfort, and normally, they really protect us from any kind of noise, and we can easily ignore reviews about the noise level. Here, however, because the room was open at the top, it was so loud from the evening until late at night, and also repeatedly at night, with the barking dogs, that even we couldn't sleep. The dogs bark, without exaggeration, for 20-30 minutes at a time, with only a few minutes' break in between. It's really unacceptable. One minor drawback, but fine for us for one night: The duvet had no cover, and we didn't get the impression that it had been washed for us beforehand. The bedding didn't smell fresh, and we felt more itchy in bed than in other accommodations. We didn't find any bites or anything like that, though. Overall, it was okay for one night. But we would have been terribly annoyed if we'd booked for longer.
