The room and bed were very big. It was a stand-alone wooden house by the sea. The scenery in the backyard of the hotel was great. However, when I drove there at night, the road was dark and there were no road signs. I drove around twice and asked nearby villagers before I found it.

A wonderful hotel in the jungle with an amazing beach! The views of the ocean are unreal!!!
The rooms are as in the photo, the linen and towels are clean and quite new. We had a kettle, a refrigerator, a new air conditioner. A very comfortable bed. The pool is clean, the sun loungers are good. Wi-Fi is fast throughout the territory, we watched YouTube on the TV. The food in the restaurant is very fresh, there is nothing stale. Delicious. There is a good selection of dishes for breakfast. There are a lot of butterflies and birds on the territory. There is a surfer beach nearby, but it is with stones, on the other side there is a long black beach with perfect sand. The waves are big.
There is a local market nearby, supermarkets, many different cafes, a SPA in the hotel with good prices. The scooter was brought right to the hotel. In general, the staff is very responsive. All issues that arise are resolved very quickly and using What’s app. It was very convenient for us! We were there for three days, but I would gladly spend a week there.
In terms of cleanliness in the room: 4 out of 5.

I am not one to dump on a property for no good reason. But this place is in *serious* need of some TLC. #sad. Fantastic natural setting with a beautiful secret cove. But lots of blind spots. Our room was pleasant on first glance but quite grimy once you started to live in it. Caulk all over bathroom sink. Outdoor shower mildewy and water did not drain making it swampy and absolutely disgusting. Toilet seat looked like it had been there since the 1980s. Bed itchy and uncomfortable (bed bugs?). At one point I even saw a rather large spider in the room (to say nothing of the cobwebs). Even nature’s wonder - the secret cove - needed some TLC, with some plastic bottles and straws strewn about. The main pool looked tired - and like everything else, in need of some love. Hey, I have no problem staying in a one star or two star hotel. But I do have a problem staying in a place that should be four stars but only lives up to two (at best). Considering the property takes three hours to get to from the airport, should be even more incumbent on them to step it up. This is a property with lots of potential but clearly an owner who does not care any more. Step up or step out.

A very wonderful relaxing and revitalising 10 days. Food and staff were very good. All in a semi-rural location with very good surf. Old school Bali. Excellent value for money. Only downside is you are 3 hours+ drive from the airport. Well worth it. We will definitely be back.
