Fabulous hotel! I was provided with a private transfer to my next hotel completely free of charge and was allowed to stay in my villa until my departure time. All the villas are incredibly decorated, it's a museum. I'll be back!

Relatively quiet, like being in a paradise

We had a lovely 3-night stay in the one bedroom studio (Villa Klaten). The hotel is exactly like on the pictures. You immediately feel like you're on holiday thanks to the beautiful architecture. We had the swimming pool for ourselves for two days!

The hotel is stunning. With authentic Balinese architecture and a beautiful swimming pool, the grounds, entrance and invididual villas are all super unique and authentic. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was very spacious and perfect for a family of four. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The villas are super private but still accessible to the pool. We could sit quietly and see our kids swimming from the privacy of our own enormous patio. I would highly recommend this hotel for groups! Such a great experience.

My stay at Kampung Kecil was outstanding. The charming home ambient, elegant room makes my experience unique. Silent place where you can rest at perfect location between Sanur port and Bali Airport . Prime location connected to tool . The staff is so helpful :) thank you again

My family and I stayed at the villa this July. I can say that it was the best rest for the soul. Every corner there is made with soul and love. Wonderful responsive staff who will always help. They even changed my pillow because I couldn't sleep on a high one. A wonderful, peaceful place to relax with children. near the villa there are many markets and restaurants, you will never be hungry there. Lovely laundry across the street. We really liked this place and will definitely come back again. We thank the owner and staff for the hospitality.

We stayed in two bedroom villa in these beautiful villas. Our two sons loves the pool. The decor is amazing, I am Indonesian and loved seeing the traditional Javanese style and uniqueness of this luxury compounds. Its really safe, quiet with lots of shops close by. You have your own fully equipped kitchen which was great with the kids and nice table for having lunch. Everything is centered around a nice cool pool and lovey garden. We loved our stay a can highly recommend this place.

Kampung Kecil is a beautiful and unique private villa complex in a quiet part of Sanur. The villas are rebuilt luxury Javanese Joglos, which add really character and charm. Each one is unique, so you could stay many times and have a different experience each time. There is nowhere like this to stay in Sanur. If you want an authentic, culturally rich, and beautiful luxury villa, then this is the place to stay. The attention to detail is incredible, and you can just spend some time looking at how the villa has been made—an amazing experience in itself if that interests you like me. Top this, if with them being secure, quiet, and around a lovely pool (which my kids loved), just make them one of the best places to stay in Bali. Helpful staff and a great breakfast as well. The areas where the villas are located is at the back of Sanur, so not walking distance to the beach, but a quick booking of a cheap Grabcab or bike and you can be there in 10 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants close by and many great options for delivery. Also all the villas are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens, and there is a supermarket 2 minutes away, so perfect.

We stayed few nights in March 2024 at Villa Kampung Kecil in Sanur and it was an unforgettable, amazing experience. The villa we stayed in was a beautiful antique Javanese teak house, meticulously decorated with stunning antiques. It featured a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious veranda, and an en-suite bathroom that seamlessly blended modern comforts with traditional charm. We particularly love the bathtub made from the stone. The tropical garden and the natural swimming pool at the center of the property created a tranquil and serene environment. It felt like a hidden oasis, perfect for relaxation. The staff at Villa Kampung Kecil were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and refreshing welcoming drinks. Overall, Villa Kampung Kecil offers an authentic Balinese experience with modern comforts, exceptional service, and a serene environment. I highly recommend it to families, couples, and solo travelers looking for a peaceful and unique stay in Sanur.

Absolutely blissful resort in Sanur. Rather out of the centre but grabs are cheap and they provide a free shuttle into central destinations. We stayed in the studio villa and it was plenty big enough for two. Had a very luxurious feel. Bathroom amazing and lots of hot water. Staff were friendly and professional. Very beautiful surroundings and stunning pool.

Visited way back on NYE, price is reasonably even during the New years. The building and general area is beautiful, pool looks cool and the place is pretty quiet. Could be hard to find sometimes but the host is very helpful.

We stayed at the Kampung Kecil for 4 nights. This is a calm and beautiful place. That staff is very kind and service minded - and so embracing of our children. Breakfast was delicious. There is a bit of a walk to the beach and heart of Sanur, but if you don’t mind, we would most definitely recommend this wonderful place. Thank you to the staff for welcoming us to this authentic place.

We stayed one week in Villa Klaten. This hotel is heaven on Earth! Away from all the noise, you find yourself in paradise. All is so clean and the decor is stunning. The breakfast is amazing and the staff so Nice and helpful. We are so Happy and thankful for the time spend in this wonderfull place. We thank you all at Kampung Kecil for making our time in Sanur Bali the most amazing memory ever. 🙏🙏🙏

This was our second stay at this thoroughly brilliant hotel. I think I can safely say this is my favourite hotel anywhere in the world. You walk through the gate to the property and immediately feel its calm and tranquillity. The five antique Javan houses are absolutely spectacular, with lovely furnishings and facilities. They offer superb value for money. We stayed in the Yogya house which is definitely our personal favourite. You get a big sitting room, kitchen, guest loo, bedroom and large bathroom which comes with a big stone bathtub and a lovely veranda. You get served a delicious, generous breakfast each money at your room. All the houses surround a stunning swimming pool. The staff are incredibly helpful and organise anything you want. We had a brilliant massage at the hotel and hired a car to take us to some great, remote beaches that are close by. They also offer a free shuttle service that can take you to the centre of Sanur as it's a bit of a trek if you're walking. We will definitely be back! Just don't change a thing as you've created something is just perfect.
