This place was convenient as it was close to the wedding we were attending. However that’s about what was good - we had the 3 bedroom villa no.104 - it’s a dated property and the cleanliness is very questionable. There was a dead cockroach in our toilet for 3 days which tells me the staff didn’t clean the room properly at all. The bedsheets had old bloodstains; the pillows were lumpy; the shower leaked into the bathroom and would make the floor wet; the tap in the bathtub ran brown which we realised was sand; the fridge was dirty; the kettle took 20 mins to heat up. The pool isn’t heated so it was freezing. The breakfast was ok - but even after we pre -ordered it, it would take 45 mins which with kids is far from ideal. The staff are very friendly so no complaints on that front. I really got the ick from this place and I wouldn’t stay here again and don’t recommend it - they really need to do basic maintenance & deep clean the place top to bottom.

We had the most romantic and relaxing few days at Mahagiri! The staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. The villa was gorgeous and comfortable, with all the amenities we could want. All the meals were excellent but the private 3-course dinner at our villa with live local music was absolutely perfect. The spa facilities are also lovely and we highly recommend treating yourself to a massage.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel from March 24 to 31 and were very pleased. The hotel is quite small, villas, reception, restaurant, spa and gym. There is also a small shared pool. But we liked it, it was cozy, quiet and uncrowded. Right next to the hotel, a few minutes away, there is a gas station, currency exchange and supermarkets. We stayed in a 1-bedroom villa and were delighted, lots of space, everything you need: hair dryer, iron, ironing board, gas stove, electric kettle, microwave, large refrigerator, safe. The private pool is a special love, 1.4 m deep, smooth entry, the water was always comfortable. We only took breakfasts, everything was very tasty. Breakfasts must be selected in advance and a letter with the selected items must be left in the mailbox outside the villa until 21.30 the day before. The territory is treated for mosquitoes once a week. All the staff are super polite, smiling and pleasant, always ready to help with any question, the cleaning of the room was also excellent. We did not notice any entertainment programs in the hotel, but we did not need them, we were traveling around the island all day. We highly recommend this hotel for a quiet, peaceful holiday!

We had the pleasure to stay 3 days in this Villa and we appreciated the atmosphere, the culture, the furiendhip and openness of the entire staff. Always smiling, gentle, kind and at your disposal for making you feel welcome and appreciated. Villa is large, spacious, with 3 bedrooms and a dining room, good pool and fantastic relaxing area. Villa are under constant renewal and will get better and better in the coming months but even now they are amazing. Restaurant is great, a pool outside, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can select among a list of continental and local food. Good quality of local coffee Reception always available for you SPA is good and you can have all the treatments in your Villa simply booking 1 hour in advance, this is great we had the all the days and were super Last but not the least we celebrated birthday of one daughter while we were at the Mahagiri; the staff and chef made it special with a fantastic cake and a big surprise by all the team working there. So, me and my husband were celebrating our anniversary and planned a Bali trip. We ended the trip in Uluwatu and chose this property. I couldn’t find many reviews for this place and was hesitant to book it. But the photos looked great so we booked it up. I’ve listed my feedback below: 1) this is an old property. The maintenance hasn’t been done. The upholstery is peeling. The fittings are old, the layout is bad. 2) after using the pool, I’ve developed a skin allergy. And mind it, I was in Bali for a while and stayed in other properties but never felt that the pool wasn’t clean. 3) the food is bad. I ended up ordering via apps to eat. 4) the location is ok, but that’s not reason enough to book this Overall, try and avoid this property

Pleasant clean villa with a lovely garden and pool. Good temperature in pool and sunshine. Nice traditional day bed ‘bale’ and day lounges. Could do with an umbrella. Adequate living room with kitchen, large table, large lounge and good tv. Nice outdoor shower and enclosed bathroom with large window. Nice bed, good aircon. The restaurant and kitchen staff not up an running yet after Covid. There was a limited menu from a local restaurant which is delivered, it was nice but I missed having staff come and cook in your kitchen or ordering cocktails etc. overall a nice safe pleasant place that needs a little maintenance soon such as stiff bifold doors, new shower head and bedroom tv reception.
