Villa Bodhi

Villa Bodhi truly is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. A little piece of paradise. All villas are tastefully and uniquely designed, with individual touches by the owner Amos, who is wonderful and made us feel so welcomed. The natural beauty surrounding the complex is outstanding, and you couldn’t find kinder and more accommodating staff. I was celebrating my birthday and was surprised by a most delicious dinner and birthday cake. We really didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back!

My parents stayed here recently but don't have Trip Advisor so they asked me to post this on behalf of them: My wife and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time at this villa complex in the mountains. Amazing tranquil setting with unabstructed scenic views of the valley. The staff were very attentive and provided 5 star service. Highly recommended for those who seek a quiet peaceful stay in the mountains. We shall return .

One of the best properties in Bali with best location which gives you true flavour of Balinese nature and culture and still not far from Ubud only a few minutes drive . Every thing is so perfect about Villa Bodhi from its beddings to its pool . Villa has got a beautiful architecture and interior which is a mixture of Balinese with modern touch , making this place very comfortable and serene . One of the most professional but still friendliest staff and great chefs too . I have stayed there multiple times already and what an experience and comfort it is to be at this place every time . Despite landing in Bali past midnight, we were greeted with marigold lei and a hot, flavorful meal when we arrived at Villa Bodhi. The villaʻs beauty and calm moved me to tears. The commons area is an open pavilion with Balinese wood and stone carvings, teak furniture, and batik decor. Surrounding the pavilion are five large, air-conditioned guest cottages and an artesian salt-water infinity pool. After a restful sleep, we awoke to the view of a rainforest ravine. Our Bali experience was memorable also because of the Villa Bodhi staff and their authentic warmth. Whether it was how the landscape was maintained, the cottages were cleaned, or the delicious Balinese meals were crafted, every interaction demonstrated genuine care and professionalism. A special mahalo goes out to the manager, Mr. Made, who took the time to drive us to several sightseeing spots and share his cultural knowledge and perspective of his home. In a world where tourism can often feel transactional, the staff at Villa Bodhi exemplified what it means to provide heartfelt hospitality. My favorite memory? Spending a day touring the surrounding Ubud district — temples, shrines, rice fields, shopping — and then returning to Villa Bodhi in the late afternoon to slide into that infinity pool before the most satisfying Balinese meal.

It was a great experience. The villa is surrounded by greenery with an enchanting forest in front of it. The pool overlooks this. The location is about 30 minutes from Ubud traffic permitting, but they will drop you off and pick you up. Inside there are 4 villas perfect for a large family or 2 families. Each comes with a private bathroom with a bath and shower. Cleaning is done every day. The common spaces are excellent in Balinese style with ponds and flower garden. The staff is really delightful, always present and ready to satisfy the various needs, the manager Mr. Madi is truly an excellent and competent person, he speaks English well and will be able to help you with everything thanks again to him for everything. Smile is always ready for the guest. If you need laundry after a long journey they will arrange it for you. You can dine in the villa instead of going to crowded Ubud with a good cook (I suggest you just think about the menu in advance because they have to get the ingredients from Ubud and ask for the things you want like extra virgin oil or Nutella or bread because there is no they have it). I only make a suggestion to the Manager to replace sheets and pillows which are old and unfortunately not perfectly smelling due to the humidity.
