The staff were very enthusiastic, but it was a pity that we arrived too late. We had to chase dolphins the next day, so it was just a short break and we didn't experience the other fun of the hotel. Maybe we will have a chance to stay longer next time. We were in a hurry to catch the flight the next day, and the staff also helped to pack breakfast.

This place is beautiful. Right on the beach, I didn't want to leave! The hotel is run by a local family, the service was second to none. Staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble for them. The grounds were impeccable, rooms spotlessly clean and the outdoor bathroom was just gorgeous! Breakfast included - it's massive! And you can order latte, flat white etc as opposed to only local coffee. The pool is in a great location in the grounds, meaning it always has a shady spot, and the sun loungers around the pool are really comfortable, always plenty of towels as well. The overall vibe was relaxed, we enjoyed a massage by the pool. On our last night the staff arrange a table overlooking the water for us, the sunset was magnificent, and the little touches like a candle and flowers on the table made the experience all the better. We will definitely be back.

Fijn hotel met zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het uitzicht is echt prachtig. Je kunt hier genieten van een prachtige zonsondergang! Zowel de kamer als badkamer zijn wel verouderd. En er kan een beetje meer sfeer gebracht worden in de kamer. Tevens zijn er slechts 2 stopcontacten op je kamer. Het bed is prima en schoon. Matras ligt zeer goed. Het was wel even wennen om slechts onder een laken te liggen ipv een dekbed. Maar dat is persoonlijk. Het ontbijt gaat via een keuzemenu en is voldoende. De verse juices zijn echt heerlijk. Heerlijk zwembad en voldoende ligbedden.

Een heerlijke plek vlakbij Lovina, heel hartelijk ontvangst door Dian, eigenaresse, haar dochter Vika en het personeel. De kamers zijn uitstekend, schoon en voorzien van een mooie en schone badkamer die half open is (kan je douchen onder de sterrenhemel). Een fijne plek, met veel privacy en met goed eten, kortom een fijne lokatie om even in een rustig gedeelte van Bali lekker bij te tanken.

Amazing stay! The owners/staff, the location (best sunsets), the cottage/property, the food/drinks exceeded my expectations. If Lovina is not on your list of places to go while visiting Bali, it should be included and a stay at 1000 Dream Bungalows. So convenient to amazing day trips - the morning dolphin/sunrise/snorkeling was an experience not to be forgotten, beautiful waterfalls, ancient bamboo villages and mingling with the locals was an experience I'll never forget. 1000 Dream Bungalows is like staying in a little piece of paradise! Don't miss out!

A small piece of Paradise and a hidden gem in Lovina. We have stayed here three times and would still love to return as soon as possible. Dian who runs the place and her family are so kind and do all they can to make your stay wonderful. The 8 bungalows are basic but clean with lovely outdoor bathrooms, and the garden with the swimming pool is so beautiful and right in front of the beach. The sunsets here are beautiful. The food is excellent and then there is an extra special feature: Dian’s father who is excellent at therapeutic massage. With only a few treatments he can cure inflammation, injuries and tension in the muscles and joints disappear. We can highly recommend his massage.

1000 Dream bungalows is (probably) one of the best places to stay in the Lovina beach area. I have stayed there for 15 days and every day was a good day. You simply cannot beat the views, especially the sunsets. The location is very convenient. Across from an immigration office, short walk to various shops and restaurants and within the service area of Grab, so getting stuff delivered or getting transport is very easy. Although there is no real ‘beach’ there is a coastal path you can use to get some exercise while watching the ocean. The rooms are great. It’s basic, yes, but high quality basic. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is amazing. Airco is powerful. I slept very well here. No TV but you won’t miss that at all. Breakfast is excellent albeit maybe a bit limited if you stay longer. I didn’t mind the eggs Benedict though. Yum. Pool is good for a dive and cool off, but it’s not a lap pool. It is about 8x3 meters, i would say. Perfect for hanging on the edge, having a cocktail and watching the ocean. The garden is your front yard. Plenty of seating. Comfy loungers. Dinner is also very good. Especially if you get to know the owners so you can talk about what you like and if you might want to have a special dinner. They are very easy to talk to and will try and make everything work for you. Their Indonesian dishes (like the Nasi Campur) are to die for. Cannot recommend enough. Also see my restaurant review. Prices are moderate for Lovina but perfect for the setting. Staff is wonderful. They will become your family in a way. It’s like staying with friends, but friends who know how to operate a small boutique hotel. Highly recommended. The only downsides are that the WiFi is not really fast or super reliable, but I’m pretty sure they will look into that sooner rather than later. What I didn’t like was an unannounced 2.5% surcharge for paying with a credit card. Just tell people in advance
