Space Villas Bali

Space Villas was recommended to us by friends who had been there and who had also recommended them to their son for his honeymoon. Amidst the bustling tourist-filled streets of Seminyak a quiet, private lane takes you to the oasis of calm that is Space Villas. Each villa has its own entrance and once inside you find yourself in your own totally private and beautiful space. A gorgeous 35ft pool surrounded by a well maintained tropical garden is the first thing that strikes you. A covered indoor/ outdoor dining space and sofa area is to the side of the luxuriously spacious main building / bedroom. The staff are charming and extremely helpful. Our butler, Surya was amazingly obliging, conscientious and informative. We had lots great chats with him about all things Bali over the breakfast he’d prepared for us. We also enjoyed the services of our driver, Nyoman who took us on local day trips as well as airport collection. Again, he was very informative and educated us a lot about local life and the sites we visited. The front desk, headed by Yudis was efficient and helpful whether booking massages (all excellent), day trips or room service for us. We had a fantastic stay here, would come back in a heart beat, and fully recommend Space Villas to any one wishing to enjoy a luxurious, chilled out stay with easy access to a bustling tourist area with plenty of great restaurants and bars.

Beautiful location off the busy street. Staff were amazing and looked after us so well from when we arrived to when we left. All meals were fresh produce and very tasty 🩷 Definitely would return to stay again at the beautiful Space Villas .😀

This place had been recommended by friends but still exceeded my expectations. The garden and pool is amazing. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the service was amazing. Merry made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Just a short walk to Eat Street and plenty of shopping close by. Pizza Hub is a few mins walk away and a hidden gem. As is Kendi Kuning which is run by Annemarie- a lovely Aussie. Lots to love about Space Villas!

My credit card was compromised at the hotel. This is the only place I used my pin while I stayed in Bali and the card was duplicated and money was withdrawn from a bank machine while I was at the airport on my way home.

My first stay at Space goes back to August 2010 and since then have been a faithful visitor every year for two-three weeks at a time. Space has several key qualities: 1) Amazing staff who can organize drivers, diners, motorbike rental etc … (they even keep our own coffee machine between stays). You get allocated your own butler for your stay when you check-in. 2) Great location: even though we use motorbikes, one can easily walk to an array of shops and great restaurants ( Kilo kitchen is literally next door) 3) Pool size: Infinity pools are made with bali stone and large in size. I chose Space for that reason in the first place. I was looking for a big pool with lots of sun exposure (many pools are small and sheltered when you look at 2 bedrooms villas). Check google map and you will see that to this day, Space pools are the biggest pools for villa of this size (even bigger than a lot of bigger villas). The garden are lovely and well maintained with great lighting at night. We are already planning our next stay for 2025!

We come to Space since years and we never got disappointed! From the smooth airport pickup which avoids a lot of hassle to the large pool and complete privacy, it’s a heaven compare to the busy streets and packed hotels at Seminyak. We do the booking direct via email and always got the best price. Let the reception organize you the scooters you need to go around, much more reliable as to rent one on your own. Yudis from the reception is always helpful and can also organize stuff you want to buy. The villas got recently renovated. Start your day with a breakfast prepared by your Buttler, afterwards they clean the rooms and you don’t see them anymore (if you don’t need anything) during the day… full privacy which is much appreciated. WiFi works well and there is a large fridge to store and cool your drinks. The main benefit is the large overflowing pool made of Bali stone which is great to swim and relax in. When you come back at night after dinner or the bars, you can jump in and cool down. Highly recommended with a fantastic value for money.
