Villa Diana Bali

Besides the bed bugs, everything else was great! Staff were so friendly & helpful! Place is beautiful otherwise. Was fortunate enough to have the whole villa to ourselves until last few days.

When booking this villa they were very poor in replying - several time I had to resend messages / emails before I had a reply. Before we arrived, I tried to book a table for breakfast for the group that was staying, only to be told when the 1st of the group arrived, that the kitchen was not working as they had no chef - others were told it was due to having no hot water. They then booked a table up the street without telling us. We had difficulty getting new bath towels even when they were asked on several occasions. When asked if they had ice, we were told that they didn't, but they could buy some in for us which we paid for. On the 1st morning I noticed that 1 of the windows was broken and I advised staff of this. When we checked out, they told us that we had to pay for the damages, and they would not allow us to leave until it was paid for. I told them that I had reported the damage on the 1st morning. After some back and forwarding we were allowed to leave. After I had left, they then confronted other of the travelling party and wanted them to pay for the damage. I have now received another email / message chasing money for the damage. I would not recommend staying at this Villa at all. Beds are rock hard (some may like hard beds) no tea or coffee facilities. 2 bottles of water per day. No tissues (tissues supplied was a roll of toilet paper) Paper thin towels - 1 split when being used - and as they were very thin, they did not dry very well.

Run down and the room l was in had a mouldy aircon that caused me to cough all night and the toilet didn’t work. They said they would fix the toilet, which they didn’t, so l decided to move to a hotel the next morning and never looked back. I would not recommend the place as it’s unhealthy and would run, not walk to another place to stay. I didn’t even ask for a refund, I was just please to find a hotel close by that was the TS Suites, which was totally 6 stars and my cough went away and I had a brilliant holiday.

Looked at reviews before booking and pictures and reviews looked great. We arrived and there was a local party and to avoid the pool area for an hour... Checked into the 'villa' round the back. Past all the rubbish bags in the street, the smell in the room was horrendous, room was very unclean and the outside shower had a tree growing in it Moved rooms after the party had left which was better, next to the pool. We were the only guests in the hotel, and the manager was friendly enough and tried to reassure us. The security watched TV all night in reception and talked with taxi drivers all night ... Unfortunately this was right next to our room and kept us awake all night The pool area looks nice enough, but the water was green! Couldnt swim in it... Vile Moved to another hotel, have no idea how this hotel gets 4 stars I would definitely avoid
