At first we were given a standard room, although through trip we booked a deluxe room. Then we had to go to the reception and move. The deluxe was not much better than the standard room: there was no safe, no hair dryer, the room needed repair, the walls and bathroom were in poor condition. The breakfast was very poor and without a decent choice. Old, family hotel. Of the guests, there are more elderly people.
I liked the pool.

The hotel is in a good location, we had a room at the Hotel Club Bali, the building is divided into 2 hotels. When we looked out of the room, there was another house or a wall. We had reserved a table by the pool for dinner, but it was taken. They just said sorry and then gave us another one in the middle of the room. Overall, the complex looks good. After 6 p.m. swimming is prohibited and canisters of chemicals are emptied into the pool in front of the guests.

17th trip to Bali and second time I've stayed here. I love everything about it. Very accommodating staff...so nice and friendly. Amazing location too. Best value for money when compared to anywhere else I've stayed. Highly recommend The Jayakarta!

I had a great time at the Jayakarta. The staff were very friendly and as a solo traveller, they made the effort to speak to me. The pools were so lovely! The temperature was just right! I also booked a flower bath and massage in the resort...very good! The food was really good and the cocktails even better! They also had hair braiders in the resort, so I got my hair done! My only slight criticism was the room. I didn't feel my room was quite on par with other hotels I've stayed in. I didn't complain but my bed sheets were stained, and I didn't feel all that comfortable in there. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room either, but the staff did bring me one on request. I just felt like they need to buy new towels and bed sheets. I got the sense they were washed and 'clean' but old and like I say, stained. I've stayed in hostels of better room standards sadly. But everything else was really good!

I was a bit concerned after reading a number of poor reviews of this place. But for us everyrhing was excellent. Kids loved it. Breakfast was fantastic. Pools clean. Staff lovely. Rooms are great. Not perfect but definately not worth complaining about. We'd go back for sure. Thank you !

Great for families! Giant pools, close to restaurants. Beach is across the road with cheap chairs and umbrellas. Breakfast was decent and included. A great time!

Enjoyed staying at the Jayakarta being close to good restaurants and the beach. The service was excellent. They were accommodating with putting us on the ground floor as my husband is unable to upstairs
