We arrived at the hotel at noon. The lobby was located upstairs, but there were no directional signs, so we had difficulty finding it. Upon check-in, we were asked for a 300 IDR deposit, but this information hadn't been specified during the reservation process. Since we didn't have IDR with us, we were told we had to leave our passports. We eventually got our passports back by paying in dollars.
While the hotel appeared generally clean, the sheets were stained and the hygiene was poor. There were so many insects in the open area that we couldn't comfortably spend time by the pool. We even saw a centipede (insect) in the pool, so we couldn't swim. Furthermore, the soundproofing between the rooms was very poor, and noise from adjacent rooms significantly impacted our sleep.

I highly recommend Paisa! We rented a bike from them which was so convenient (if you’re not renting a bike, someone helps you down the road on scooter and to your villa). The staff were extremely accommodating to keep our luggage before check in. They were all welcoming, and friendly. It’s located in the heart of seminyak! Makes it so easy to travel around, so many amenities close by! Gojek drivers pick you up right from your door. Your villa gets sprayed every evening for mosquitoes, which really works! We regret only spending half our holiday here.
