The breakfast was very rich and delicious, and could be delivered to the room. The staff were very nice and let us use the pool until 10 pm. There was a shuttle bus to the city, which was very convenient; just book it an hour in advance. The only minor drawback was that the shower was not well-designed and kept getting the carpet and toilet wet. The bathroom could be cleaned a little better.

The bed is two meters wide, which is no problem for 2 adults and 1 child (the baby is 6 years old). The disadvantage is that the room is small, and the check-in process is troublesome. The overall experience of staying at Alena Resort is good, but there are a few aspects that make me feel less good: The resort is about 5 kilometers away from the center of Ubud. Access basically relies on shuttle buses, self-driving or app-hailing. Shuttle buses go back and forth 4 times a day. If you miss the next trip, you have to wait for 3 hours for the next one, which is inconvenient. During the 3-day stay, the room was carelessly picked up on one of the days. Some belongings were even put aside randomly, and the smell was smelled every day. The pillows had an odor/sweat smell; the Wi-Fi reception in the room I stayed in was poor and there were several locations where Wi-Fi could not be received.
In addition to the poor experience mentioned above, the service attitude of the staff and the quality of the food in the restaurant are both good!
