Well, it's pretty and accessible from the center by scooter. Just the bathroom isn't very clean and it smells bad.

Bungalow is not about comfort. Here mosquitoes and larvae with wings crawl through the cracks. You can hear birds and bats. But this is not the worst thing, the most unpleasant thing is that you can hear the road, trucks and bikes are driving right under your window at high speed. The pool is not cleaned, there are insects and leaves in it. The price for this accommodation is higher because of the temple, which is nearby. I asked for a glass of boiling water in the kitchen - they said only for money, one glass is 10,000 rupees)
They gave mosquito repellent in the room
As for convenience - you can rent a bike.

We booked Lux room. It's more expensive but very noisy.
Nice and friendly staff. Good environment and view in the restaurant.
Small room. Nearly zero soundproof so it's very noisy. We could hear cleary everytime the motorcycles passed through. Even the cleaning staff swiping the floor! We asked for changing the room but it's fully booked. After turning on all night the air con, it covered a bit the noise from the road.
Not too clean. Both lamps were broken. The tap in the sink and the toilet seat were broken. The design in the bathroom was strange . We had to jump/pass thorough the shower place and get to the toilet.

The bungalows were full of charm and character. Pool is surrounded by nice gardening and the view from the restaurant was amazing. Staff was super nice and we got monkey visitors in the morning. A super treat.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas abseits auf einer Anhöhe gelegen. Aktuell wird eine wunderschöne kleine Bar mit Blick über den Dschungel und das Meer errichtet. Von dort hat man eine traumhafte Sicht auf Sonnenauf- und Untergang und bei Nacht sieht man die vielen Fischerboote und Lichter der Küste - einfach traumhaft. Die Preise sind günstig und die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Etwas ungewöhnlich: Die Dusche selbst ist nicht wie der Rest des Bades gefliest, sondern man steht auf Steinen. Beim Verlassen der Unterkunft läuft der Strom weiter und damit auch die Klimaanlage. Für Menschen nahe/über 2m Größe sind die Betten leider etwas kurz. Durch die günstige Lage sind die Strände und Sehenswürdigkeiten von Uluwatu schnell zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen.
