We stayed in this room for 2 nights out of 3.
The room was listed as 2nd floor when we booked, but we ended up on 1st floor.
Pros: Breakfast at the restaurant next door. On the second day, we had eggs Benedict. They were shaped like croissants, but the bread was hard and difficult to eat. The Balinese coffee was consistently delicious.
Cons: Since it was on the 1st floor, other guests could see us passing by, so we couldn't open the curtains.
The facilities were old overall, and I was surprised to see spider webs on the unused drawers.
There were a lot of ants in the room on the 2nd floor, but there were even more centipedes on the 1st floor.
The bathroom on the 1st floor was half outside, so the bathroom was especially full of bugs, and I regretted coming to this hotel.
First of all, when I filled the bathtub with hot water, a lot of ants came out from what seemed to be a drain.
In addition, two large geckos started rummaging through the trash can in the middle of the night, so I couldn't sleep.
Anyway, if you stay at this hotel, make sure to reserve a room on the second floor.
The facilities on the first floor are just as old, the closet doors don't close, the sink is small, and the beds and linens are damp.
The pillows are squishy and bumpy.
The breakfast is delicious and the view from the second floor is nice, so I can put up with it, but the facilities could do with a bit more maintenance.
