i revisited ubud two weeks ago and stayed at umaya villa for three nights.the villa close to monkey forest,so sometimes monkeys will come to visit you.during the stay, they visited me once,but just passed by my villa,and gone, so disappointed. the villa is quite old, need more upgraded, especially the gate, difficult to close,need some skills. besides, staying here quite covenient, cuz you can walk to jl monkey forest and then go to center ubud. i didnt buy breakfast when i booked the room. they allowed me pay onsite. the food here tasty,authentic indonesian food, portion ok. staffs here polite and helpful. the private pool is lovely,i swam everyday,love it !luckily during the stay, almost everyday is sunny day,so i had wonderful time here. shower area is semi opened which is good to me. also, you will see some unknown insects in the room, but it is ok for me, not a big issue. the living room quite big though i never used it. i really enjoy staying at umaya villa, hope will be back one day. highly recommended!

Charming little villa, semi enclosed bathroom and living/dining area. Amazingly kind and helpful owner and staff. Great location, not in the centre but close enough to make walking to many sites, spas and restaurants very easy, 3-30 minute walk.

Nice property in a great location behind the monkey sanctuary. The path into the centre isn’t long and is very scenic. The villas are tucked away with quick access to shops/restaurant whilst maintaining a feel of privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the linen/towels of good quality. Unfortunately during our stay it rained a few times heavily and with the roofing of the bathroom there was leaking making the floor quite slippy. The breakfast at umuya was great, there was a variety of options and plenty per person - a choice of one main, fruit platter a selection of juice and tea/coffee. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at umuya villas. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and organised our laundry as well as recommendations for local trips. We highly recommend.

This little hidden gem was amazing. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with private plunge pool, and it was amazing the pool was a good size and being able to had a dip at anytime was great. The rooms were big and the bathroom was fantastic. The 2 bedrooms have separate entrances and are next to each other but not adjoining . There is also an undercover outdoor area that is big with a large table to sit aorund to eat or play games on. It's right next to the monkey forest , and it's an easy walk into Ubud , via a path that runs along the monkey forest so you get to see plenty of monkeys along the way. The staff were fantastic, attentive and always willing to assist with questions and anything we wanted. I would definitely stay here again. It's a hidden gem.

Amazing villa. We were in Rama with a private pool and it was worth it. Beds are so comfy. great Aircon. Outside bathroom with waterfall shower was bliss. Could do with a safe but the wardrobe has a lock on it. Tea/coffee in the room and kettle. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. The staff were so friendly and helpful, got us a scooter and driver. Yes there are monkeys everywhere on the walk to town but just don't have any plastic bottles/bags on you/within sight. On way home in the dark there aren't any as they go to sleep, so actually felt safer at night. Overall a great stay and very impressed!

We stayed at Umaya villa Ubud at the villa with swimming pool on the site and we found it pretty much lovely. Really, it was a cozy villa with a lot of greenery, probably a bit old but perfectly maintained. The price per night was more than fair and delicious breakfast on villa's terrace became one of the most remarkable memories from our Bali trip. The location of the villa is ideal: many various dining options are at a stone’s throw and monkey forest sanctuary is just round the corner. There is a small parking space, but it wasn’t a problem at all, as the owners helped us to park the car quickly and safely. I must admit, the owners were so kind and helpful in general. Thank them very much for their hospitality. We would give only one tiny critical remark concerning hot water: the point is that when we had just settled in, the water heater was turned off, and when we found out that and turned it on, we had to wait more than one hour to take a hot shower. So, it would be great if the owners turned the heater on in advance before guests arrive. The rest, our staying at Umaya villa Ubud was impeccable.
