My group and I stayed comfortably at Caldera Hotel, and overall, the feedback was mostly positive. The rooms were generally well-appointed, and the hotel facilities met our expectations for a mid-range stay. The location was convenient, and staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. However, there were a few minor issues worth mentioning. One person in our group was assigned a room directly underneath the restaurant and raised a concern about late-night noise. While the restaurant closes at 9 PM and the staff explained this clearly, the guest still felt uncertain about the potential for disturbances during the night. Additionally, a couple of rooms were reported to have an unpleasant smell, which slightly impacted the comfort level for some of our group. Despite these points, Caldera Hotel delivered good service overall. Addressing the room freshness would help improve future guest experiences even further.

The hotel is in an awesome location to view the volcano, Butan. But the service and cleanliness is very much lacking. The bathrooms were really dirty, and flies abound in the eating areas as tables are not cleared or cleaned. The food was surprisingly ok. The hotel management need to urgently address their staff attitude to service.

Horrible, I have never slept in such a rotten hotel where we were given the worst rooms in the hotel. Everything was old and dirty, even unsanitary. The view is beautiful, but I prefer to sleep in a clean place. Breakfast was only Indonesian and Indian, it was impossible for my family to eat fried food for breakfast. Although we had paid for breakfast, we left at 7:30!

The location is the best, the views from hotel are amazing. Thats it. These are good points. The hotel is dirty, need desperate maintenance and need to stock up with food and drinks. Water pressure in rooms is a joke. No shower screens or curtains, showers are dirty. The employee is washing kitchen utensils in bar kitchen sink in the morning. Not sure if they know about steam cleansing or not. Buildings have mould on them, swimming pool has developed algae. The management should improve!

dilapidated structure, unclean rooms, dirty towels (even after asking for clean ones), stained walls and stained pillowcases. Definitely do not try again. the restaurant is not bad 2 noodles and 3 drinks 300,000 rupees. I do not recommend this structure.

The view and restaurant area is fabulous - giving a spectacular first impression. However the remainder of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired - it is shabby , desperately in need of renovation and felt extremely dirty . I was relieved to only stay one night .

Rista, and all the staff are helpful and kind. Happy to assist in any way they can. Caldera is full of amazing scenery and can assist with any questions or activities guests are interested in. The cheesecake, delicious! Breakfast (4 different options) I liked them all. Kitchen cooks top notch! Barista 100% Rooms have all that is needed, if they hadn’t been booked out I would have stayed a 4th night

The view from this hotel is outstanding. Absolutely lovely. However at dinner two items (that were on the menu) were not available Then when I tried to order a cocktail I was told that the only Spirits they had were whiskey and gin. Therefore nearly all of the cocktails on the list were unable to be made. I ordered a beer and when I went to order a second I was told that they had no more large beers! It is supposed to be the height of the season and yet this restaurant seem to be appallingly poorly stocked.
