Tanah Penida Bungalows

The room is relatively tall, but not very soundproof, and the sound of raindrops when it rains is scary. The hygiene looks okay on the surface, but there are obvious yellow spots on the sheets (you can't see them clearly in the photo, you have to look carefully) which is very uncomfortable. The facilities in the hotel room are very basic. It is very inconvenient to have no lights, switches and sockets at the bedside. There is not a single extra socket available in the whole room. To charge your mobile phone, you need to unplug other plugs before you can use it. The walls of the room are made of wood panels, but there are gaps and holes for light transmission. The green plants in the courtyard are okay, but the placement of the plants is unreasonable and many of them block the road, making it difficult to walk in and out of the room. Surrounded by farmland, there are no shops or restaurants. In addition to providing simple breakfast (not cheap), the hotel does not provide lunch and dinner services and food processing services. If you want to eat, you can go 4 to 5 kilometers away (the female owner of the hotel can provide paid services Pick-up) to eat, there are many mosquitoes, and bugs are often crawling on the floor of the room. The female boss is very difficult to communicate and speak in front of interests, and is unreasonable. Thinking about how difficult it is to open a store, I still didn’t give a bad review.

The landlord is nice, transportation is convenient, and very clean

This guesthouse is rated 2 stars but is no longer up to scratch. No decent breakfast and very minimal amenities (no bedside lamps, no fridge, no safe, an opened bottle of warm water, etc.) and the accommodation has aged very badly. No restaurant nearby (you have to take a taxi). Fortunately, the neighboring hotel (Penida yurt) run by Francis, was kind enough to welcome us for breakfast and dinner (excellent by the way). Here it's just a place to sleep. By the way, the owner who adjoins the bungalows has 10 dogs, woof, woof!
