The environment is really well designed, the swimming pool is also very clean, and there is shade from the trees before 10:30 in the morning (but it is also quite cold, if you are not afraid of the sun, it is better to swim at noon). The swimming pool and the restaurant are facing the rainforest, which is very healing, and the breakfast is also good. The service is also good. I admire the hotel's disinfection work, how there are no mosquitoes in the densely wooded environment. But I have to say that the hotel has been open for many years and the facilities are old. If the bedding, gauze curtains and curtains can be upgraded, it will be more comfortable. The novel I read before leaving was given to me by the hotel as a gift. So happy!
In terms of location, it is a bit far from the center of Ubud. The hotel can rent a small electric donkey, which takes about 15 minutes to ride to the center of Ubud.

Amazing staff! Everyone is so friendly and kind! If you’re looking for a real retreat, yoga in the morning, to just think and clear your mind, this is the perfect place. Everyone is so helpful! In a great location, and the staff makes sure you have something to do for the day! Their smoothies are amazing! It was my birthday and they decorated the bed!

The service and hospitality from the staff were 10/10 🫶🏼
We were welcomed with watermelon + lime juice, while completing our simple check in process. Then escorted by the Operations Manager Dewa to have a mini tour around the compound before heading to our room.
The in-house chef is great at preparing vegetarian food, and is good at coming up with vegan options. The breakfast spread is really good, we were often way too full by the end of it 😆
It’s nice being in the middle of the forest - fresh air, nice nature vibes - except you definitely have to take extra steps to prevent bugs from coming near you.
The bathroom is super spacious and rustic, and comes with a bathtub made of stone and a toilet fitted with bidet seat. We didn’t use the bathtub as I’m pregnant and it’s set on top of stones (i feel like it may be dangerous if i have to step out of there 🙈).
Our room has a TV with netflix which is really nice to have as entertainment 😄 since we did not end up using the private pool outside the room. It was a bit stale and dirty on the first two days of our stay, before cleaning happened on the 3rd day.
Free shuttle services to Ubud town area daily! Do note that Grab likely would not work here, better luck with Gojek based on our experience 👍
Overall, definitely recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Ideales kleineres Resort im Wald für alle, die es ruhiger und vegetarisch/vegan mögen. Vom Trubel in Ubud merkt man nichts, gelangt jedoch mit einem mehrmals täglich angebotenen kostenlosen Shuttle schnell hinein, wenn man möchte. Sehr herzliches Personal, vom Manager bis zum Poolreiniger, alle sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, in der Nebensaison (Anfang März) gab es ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten, die jedoch sehr diskret ausgeführt wurden und nicht gestört haben. Sehr gutes vegetarisches/veganes Essen, auch auf Unverträglichkeiten wird professionell eingegangen. Morgens wird eine inbegriffene (und sehr gut geleitete) Yogastunde angeboten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
