We were welcomed with flowers and a fruit basket in the room. Very friendly and help full staff and they do everything possible to make your stay special. It is a great location which give you excess to the whole water palace and all the facilities. The room and bathroom were clean with enough towels. Breakfast was good and we received coffee, tea and cake on the house every afternoon. The menu has a good veriety of food choices.

I visited the hotel because I didn't want to take a long time to travel during the Eastern Tour, but it was nice to be in Tirta Gangga. I don't think I can forget the evening and breakfast scenery that only guests can enjoy. But the cleanliness... It would be nice to stay for just one day.

When we arrived we were surprised by the very cozy atmosphere of this hotel. It is really located in the middle of the water palace and we had the best table on the balcony with a panoramic view of the water palace, both during dinner and at breakfast. Our room was very cozy with the outdoor bathroom as a particularly nice experience. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The food is also excellent. It is nice that in the evening, when the park is closed, you can still walk around romantically together and take beautiful photos. During our tour of the water park, the very experienced old guide Kadek Dwiki (you will recognize him immediately at the entrance) told us that our house used to be used by the king's family. He also had many nice (not true) anecdotes about this beautiful water palace. It is very amusing to see all the couples posing with all the ornaments in the park from the terrace of the hotel. In short, a very special experience, where you are pampered by the staff, REAL HOLIDAY.

Pieni oma allas myös pihalla, jota emme kyllä käyttäneet. Yhteinen allas lähes vieressä. Lisäksi temppelialueen suuri pyhän veden allas käytettävissä. Hotellin erikoisuutena vapaa pääsy temppelialueelle myös illalla ja aamulla, kun muita turisteja ei ole paikalla…..todella ainutlaatuista!!

I see all the signs hanging in the restaurant that they have received a 4.6 and that all the reviews were great. The last one I read was 10 years ago. I slept there for 1 night and I was glad to leave. We had room 3 and the rooms have not been updated in the last 20 years. Old and dirty. Bathroom partly outside, although that is not a problem, but keep it clean and tidy. No luxury but dated. Toilet broken and towels also 20 years old. Bed is a bit hard so you don't sleep very well. The chairs outside are dirty. Not clean Swimming pool very cold and not really clean and there are 2 beach beds. The pool is very small. Then the restaurant. Food is not fresh and not tasty. It is a bit rushed. Tasteless. So the 4.8 rating is probably only for the service because the people are super nice... where not in Bali!? Park you are looking at (water park) is really cool But we don't sleep there anymore. We certainly don't eat there either. Funny thing is that with lunch there were 2 couples eating and with dinner the same.

Stayed I night at Raja villa and Superior villa. Raja villa is very boutique with grand styling and great quirky bathroom. Good breakfast. Good pool shared between 5 or 6 rooms plus own plunge pool. In palace grounds so direct access to gardens when closed to public in evening and early morning.

Positive special experience - the rooms are in cottages: wonderful design, ours had an outdoor shower, a large kingsize bed, and narrow beautiful front door. Service at the hotel is superfriendly and helpful, though sometimes a bit complex (eg there are vouchers for the restaurant which is right next door.). Not luxurious but everything is provided for. The restaurant is very well positioned to oversee the waterpalace, the good is fine (not memorable). The guide provided for the tour was excellent, recommendes to take the tour. The waterpalace itself is extra interesting with a good guide, though at peak hours it gets flooded with tourists looking for an insta photo… Staying at the hotel in the palace really does offer the chance to get in early before the crowds.

Stunning restaurant located inside the water palace of Tirta Ganga. The view from the tables' balconies alone is worth the (ridiculous) price of lunch. We ate an excellent tasting plate of about ten local specialties. One dish better than the other. I would say above the local average in terms of food quality.
