The Kanjeng Signature Sidemen

Big disappointment when arriving at Tanto Villa in Sidemen. If the hotel is well located, we can only give a negative opinion on this establishment. Indeed, when arriving we are greeted by a group of young Balinese who have very little command of English and with whom we will have difficulty communicating during our entire stay, that is to say two days. No adult in sight or responsible. We could not have done more. The hotel certainly has a nice view, the gardens are beautiful but in places there is rubbish. The buildings have an Indonesian style that is pleasant but that is where it ends. For everything else, it seems that the establishment has been abandoned, everything is dilapidated and poorly maintained. In our room and those of our children the paper is torn off, the paint and the woodwork are rotting (eaten by moths?), in the door of our children's bathroom there are several holes. The toilet leaks as well as the bathtub. The children after showering realize that the water from the bathtub invades the bathroom. If the bedding is not too bad. On the other hand, there are stains on the sheets, the Wi-Fi is almost non-existent, but that is not the worst. The roof of the room of our children who sleep on the second floor is dotted with holes that are vulgarly caulked by large white canvases. In the morning when we had booked with breakfast, nothing is planned, the young people seem lost. After checking on their part (apparently they did not believe us) they bring us a tray with cold scrambled eggs, cakes and sandwich bread as well as salted butter and jam. It was frugal but again it was not the worst. The first day we were given closed bottles of water, the second a carafe of water without knowing its origin... In reality I don't understand why this hotel is rated 3 stars? I also don't understand why the last reviews date back to 2016? Even if we only met very few people, two exactly who like us did not want to stay there any longer and made the same comments about the dilapidated state of the establishment, I imagine that other people like us have stayed there since 2016 and have been able to see the state of this hotel. I hope that my opinion will be maintained on Google because it is unacceptable that people who come to Bali and pay for a certain level of service find themselves in this situation. I don't even know if it was up to standard. In short, you will have understood that I do not recommend the Tanto Villa in any way.
