The Palms Ceningan Hotel

Awful service. We visited as a group of 10. We pre booked our table for 7pm. As we would be splitting the bill 4 ways they said it would be best to take each order separately rather than splitting at the end. The food all came out separately. Each group were served their starter, then main course before the next group were served their starter. After 2 hours the 4th order of our group still had not even received their starter whilst group 1 had been finished for over an hour. We saw other tables who came in after us being served. When queried we were told that as they were staying in the hotel, they had priority. This was not mentioned at time of booking and they were quite happy to take our booking. The 4th family decided to leave as by now it was 9pm and they were extremely hungry. They went to pay for their drinks (which also had to be chased up) and were charged a service charge. They asked for this to be removed as they felt they didn’t have great service and it was refused. We went to pay for our meal (my husbands meal was way below standard and this was a more expensive restaurant). We also asked for service ti be removed as we were not able to dine at the same time as our friends. It ruined the whole evening. This was also refused and we were told nothing could be done. If this happened back in the UK, the manager would have been apologetic and some sort of compensation offered. All we asked was for the service charge to be removed. Appalling service and do not recommend. Waiting 2 hours for a meal and not being able to dine with the same people in your booking is not acceptable

An amazing location. The Hosts are the nicest most generous kind people. The rooms are very clean and delightful. A view to die for! Don't miss this place, the hosts have so much local knowledge and will guide you in the right direction for any tours etc. I was a solo traveller and thye looked after me like family. And I had the best Margarita ever!

Booked this online and I wasn’t disappointed for the location and views. However the housekeeping service is terrible! We had to ask 3 times for towels and shower gel! We stayed 9 days in total and we’re staying in other places in between this. After being away for 48 hours we came back to a dirty room, air conditioning not working, no rubbish removed etc etc! After having to complain 3 days earlier you would imagine that the manager would check that the room has been attended to. The upstairs rooms are very very hot and you can hear everything your neighbour dies down stairs as they can also hear you. Not the best design. The pool is way too hot! The outdoor area is nice but minimum shade to enjoy. You have to ask the staff loads of times for anything including the bill before we left and then they had added on other rooms food and drinks to our bill.

The Palms was the perfect place to end off our very busy family Bali holiday. Found on a small island called Nusa Ceningan. The owners, Jay and Wayne warmly welcomed us to their little piece of heaven and they were both so helpful and accommodating. The breathtaking sunsets here are the absolute best and just perfect. There were some great facility upgrades happening which didn't bother us at all, but Jay insisted that we get breakfast on the house for any inconvenience it may have caused, but we hardly noticed it and was not inconvenient at all. Situated very close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Ceningan, Secret Point, Mahana Point and Blue Lagoon which we walked to everyday. Would highly recommend The Palms Ceningan Hotel to anyone visiting Bali Ceningan. oh and the pizzas.....oh so yummy ;)

My husband and I traveled to Bali for three weeks. One of the places we stayed was The Palm Ceningan. Before we arrived, we knew it was going to be an incredible place to stay. The owner, Jay, was beyond gracious while planning our trip. When we arrived, we were greeted as if we were family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. We stayed in a cozy bungalow with a view of the ocean. The food selection was amazing and delicious. Jordan took care of arranging our tour to Nusa Penida with ease. The resort is walking distance to the most amazing places (Mahana Point, Secret Beach, and Blue Lagoon.) The Palms Ceningan is a great place to escape and relax. Thanks again to Jay and Wayne for a memorable stay! ❤️
