Kuta Town Houses

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and I could go shopping there. I thought it would be good to be close to the beach boardwalk, but it was a narrow street and the Grab driver refused to let me in, so I walked. However, the people who picked up other tours and took me to the airport came normally, so maybe the Grab driver was not used to it. The front desk staff was very friendly and not only did they store my luggage before check-in, but when I told them that I would be checking out before breakfast time when they explained the breakfast, they made a nice suggestion to deliver a breakfast box to my room in the night. Even though I returned late from the tour in the evening, they came to deliver the box after I returned to my room. (It was a nice box with a set of disposable cutlery, bread with chocolate, bread, margarine, boiled rice*, and a packed fruit, which was very satisfying. Both the fruit and bread were delicious, thank you.) The security staff also kindly sent me off early in the morning when I checked out. The room was actually old, so there were some concerns such as the blackened toilet and some paint peeling, but it was well cleaned. Only a bath towel was provided, so it would have been nice if they had provided face towels as well. It's a simple place with a good price, so next time I'd definitely like to stay a few nights and relax, as there are three pools.
