From booking until we checked out, nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Anantara Legian. We booked a luxury escape package and the value was amazing. Our Two bedroom apartment was huge, great balcony overlooking the pool.The pool and garden a beautiful haven from the busy Legian streets, we never had issues getting lounges. Great location with endless restaurants and beach bars in walking distance and breakfast at The Coffee Club had the best avo on toast in Bali! Thanks Anantara, can’t wait to visit again.

This was our second stay here and we had a one bedroom apartment, located on the ground floor. We were further along from the pool, right at the end opposite the garden.. It was so spacious with 2 televisions, a kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge. The bed was very comfortable with good linen and there was a little roomy wardrobe with iron, ironing board, umbrellas and torch. The large bathroom had a huge bath and walk in shower. Toiletries were kept filled with. The shower was hot and strong. Housekeeping did a wonderful job and arrived as soon as we went out each day. The pool area is very quiet but you need to go early as the sun disappears after midday. We found washing machines and dryers down station the garage. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The coffee club at the entrance has good food and sunset drinks are great in roof with Mexican food. Can’t wait to return

What an amazing holiday my husband and I have just had at Anatara Legian - the staff are all so beautiful and helpful. Budi on the front desk helped us sort out our transfer issue to airport. The king bed was so big and was like sleeping on a cloud - we wanted to bring the bed home! Massages, cocktail and food all amazing. Thank you we will be back again very soon.

It was a total disappointment. Though they claimed to have renovated recently, the hotel is very aged and the rooms are not sea facing. Instead, the rooms face the swimming pool which is pathetic and tiny. We decided to book another hotel immediately after we arrived at the hotel. We did not even bother to check in.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was incredible. We had so much space! One of the bedrooms was designed specifically for kids and our little one loved it! The kitchen was brilliant, so well appointed - we could easily have self catered here. The only downside with the room was that it was so good, we didn't want to leave it! The hotel itself is in a great location - we walked to the markets and shopping easily (with a 3 year old). The Coffee Club breakfast was great - we loved the options and didn't get bored of it. We had 3 dinners included at La Casa and we found these to be nice. I probably wouldn't select this option again as it got a little repetitive, but the food was nice. The pool is quiet - no fighting for cabanas or pool chairs here! It gets a great amount of morning sun too which was great. We are already planning our return!

ANANTARA Vacation Club Legian was fantastic. Our room was great. All of the facilities were wonderful and the staff were soooo helpful and friendly! We will definitely be back. Thank you Anantara staff for making our first stay in Bali and great experience!!

Warning! This is only a 4 star hotel. The prices that some websites call up are absurdly high. And a striking number of the reviews are from people who have only ever written one review. We fell for it too Positive: The hotel staff are very friendly and the location is right on the beach Negative: Absurd prices! Hotel room: Furnishings were old, room very dark. Hardly any daylight. Breakfast a la carte... so not flexible if you have special requests Beach: Dirty and swimming not recommended due to the waves and disturbances Spa: It would be good if they could put up signposts to help you find the spa area. Massage was OK Overall, we wouldn't stay here again. Far too expensive! There are much better alternatives in Bali I don't understand the very good reviews.

Great location. Amenities right at your doorsteps. Room cleanliness is excellent. The staff were friendly and always cheerful which makes this a pleasant stay. Willing to assist throughout. The only minor suggestion to give is to alternate your lunch/dinner set selection as it is limited to only Mexican cuisine. It’s repetitive. Over all a very pleasant stay especially the quiet and serene surrounding around the poolside.
