This is the first time I've stayed in such a terrible room.
(It happened before in Singapore 😅)
We had to complain to the front desk many times. See below for details.
1 The safety deposit box in my cousin's room is broken.
2 The hotel's Wifi doesn't work in the basement room.
And it wasn't the name of the Wifi we were given. (Not KUTABEX, but KUTABEX HOTEL) It works in the lobby and on the 4th floor.
3 There's no safety deposit box in my room.
4 The safety deposit box isn't fixed. (They'll take it away like this), my cousin screamed.
5 The TV doesn't work well.
6 The drain in the bathroom is clogged.
7 The toilet in my cousin's room won't stop running.
8 There were a ton of German cockroaches. (*, I met the whole family, from babies and children to adults)
1-7 were quickly resolved by the hotel repair ranger.
8 I asked the front desk which room I would like to change to. I was asked, but I didn't have the energy to go through all the steps above again, so I just borrowed some insecticide. (But it was for mosquitoes 🦟! 💢) Well, I was able to confirm that the cockroaches were dead, so I'll call it a success.
The upper floors are a different hotel. That's what I was told at first, so I assumed, but there are rooms with windows on the same floor as the lobby. Apparently, if you ask for a room with a window at the front desk, you'll be asked to pay extra, but if you negotiate well, they'll make the arrangements. (I heard this from other guests) Hang in there 👍
