The Big Dragon Villas Ubud is an excellent accommodation near Ubud in northern Bali. The hotel complex only opened in April 2025, so the rooms were in very good, modern condition during our stay. In addition to the standard amenities, they included a small kitchen (with a microwave, water dispenser, and sink) shared by two rooms. The hotel complex has two pools with several loungers. Towels are provided for both the room and the pool. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and courteous. During a medical emergency, they were able to help us immediately and even drove us to a doctor. Motorcycle/scooter rentals are available on-site, as is taxi/shuttle booking. According to the manager, the food and beverage options are still being expanded; they were still under construction during our stay. The hotel is surrounded by rice fields, making it a very quiet location. Our deluxe room cost 950,000 Rp per night.
