Regent Bali Canggu

I rarely write reviews, but Regent Canggu deserves a mention. I didn't take photos of the room; the pictures on the hotel homepage reflect the actual room. I booked a two-bedroom suite, which is two connecting rooms with separate living and sleeping areas. It's spacious. The hotel is new, with fresh amenities. The minibar is completely complimentary, stocked with wine, various beverages, chocolate, beef jerky, welcome fruit, and three types of dessert. Although I didn't eat, the hotel was quite well-equipped. We spent two days at the Beachhouse, swimming, drinking cocktails, watching the sunset, and dining. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, and we even captured the most beautiful sunset. During our two-day stay, we encountered only white people, who seemed to be sunbathing, lounging, reading, or swimming at any beach in the world. The whole atmosphere was so inviting that we just wanted to lie back and enjoy nature. This atmosphere isn't something you'd find in Sanya, where most hotels are dominated by socialites who pack up and constantly change clothes for photos. Back to the hotel itself. The food was average, basic Western-style fare. The breakfast had all the expected variety, but it wasn't particularly good. Of course, taste is a personal experience, and some guests certainly find it delicious. The hotel's service is truly commendable. Upon check-in, the housekeeper added me on WeChat. Of course, communication was strictly in English. A shuttle bus was available to take you anywhere in the hotel, and the response was prompt. On our check-out day, we had to leave at 7:00 AM to go snorkeling. The housekeeper prepared a breakfast box for us the night before, and on the morning of our departure, someone came to our room to check us out and deliver the breakfast box. The service was professional and meticulous. If there's one place in Bali worth a second visit, it'd be Canggu and Regent. Canggu doesn't have tour groups, nor do it revolve around beautiful women taking photos and photoshopping photos. Instead, the town is filled with digital nomads, holidaymakers, and surfing enthusiasts from around the world. There are plenty of small shops, and it's just the kind of vacation atmosphere I love.

Having stayed in so many top five-star hotels and resort hotels, I was rarely touched by the service. It should be said that it is difficult to be touched by the good service. But Canggu Regent Bali really touched us all [blow kiss R] We arrived at the hotel front desk at around 1pm and checked in first. At this time, there was still more than an hour before the check-in time. Because I asked the front desk attendant for a thermometer (the child’s father was a little uncomfortable and wanted to see if he had a fever), the front desk immediately paid attention to it. Not only did they get the thermometer immediately, but they also asked if we needed any other help. They took the initiative to let us check in and rest in other cleaned rooms first (at this time, they had already informed us that they would upgrade us to a suite for free, which was convenient for a family of three to check in). At 3 o'clock, we were notified that we could go to our room, and the waiter was already waiting. During the entire 2-day stay, no matter where we wanted to go, we didn’t call once. As soon as we went out, it seemed that there was a car waiting for us to pick us up, and we could get on the car immediately [snicker R] It seemed that they knew when we needed the car, which was really amazing. We booked a 2-day 1-night stay. Normally, there is no double spa on the platform (it should be a benefit for staying for more than 2 nights), but the hotel actually gave it to us. The next day, my two adults made an appointment to go to a sound therapy class, and we didn’t return to the hotel until 5 o’clock (the flight was at 12 o’clock in the morning). The child had nowhere to go, and they actually helped us delay check-out until 5 o’clock so that the child could wait for us in the room [crying R] During the day, I saw the hotel maintenance staff doing various meticulous maintenance very carefully, and they wiped the stains on the outdoor chairs meticulously. This kind of attentiveness is also touching! The hotel is just outside the bustling small shop in Canggu, and there are all kinds of popular cafes and restaurants, which is very convenient!

The environment is very good in Canggu area, the mini bar in the room is free, and the service is very considerate and friendly. But compared with Uluwatu Sea View Hotel, Canggu Black Sand Beach is a little worse, and there is no exclusive beach. I was injured while surfing before leaving, and the hotel staff was very considerate to call a cooperating doctor to bandage me, and also provided a free room for rest. Thumbs up!

The hotel is beautifully decorated. You can see the scenery outside in the room. It is a highly recommended hotel.

The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are very comfortable, and the supporting facilities currently have a gym and a large swimming pool. The point is that there is a great coastline that is almost exclusive, and surfing is also very convenient, which is very suitable for surfing enthusiasts who lie flat. However, the corresponding spa and other sports facilities are lacking (for example, there should be a tennis court to highlight the sports theme), some areas are still under construction, and there are no better restaurants. It is okay to eat and drink simply, and the breakfast is quite rich. At present, the overall service facilities are somewhat lacking in cost performance. This time, I really had diarrhea for three or four days, which destroyed my enthusiasm for surfing. I felt uncomfortable immediately after drinking cocktails in the hotel bar. It is normal to be unacclimatized. The hotel is quite caring and charges a little money for buying pills on my behalf. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic. In addition to greetings, they are a little exaggerated. The American greetings always ask how are you doing, which requires more back and forth responses, but it is a bit annoying to have so many people along the way.

I like this hotel very much. It is very new and the service staff are very friendly. I booked a basic room and the space is quite large and the decoration is very good. The breakfast is very delicious and it is cooked first. But its location is not as convenient as the main attractions. But if you think about the warm service of a new hotel, I really recommend it.
