There was no air conditioning in our room, but there was a good fan, which corrected the situation. There are several pools on the territory, some of them are filled with hot water from springs. The Internet worked reliably, bathroom accessories were present. There is a beautiful view of the volcano, when the weather allows you to admire it. For unpretentious tourists, a normal option.

It is a bit far from the places for climbing Batur, but not critical. There is a warung nearby where you can eat on floating platforms right on the water of Lake Batur. They cook very decently. You can order both in your room and go up to the warung at the hotel. It is better to communicate and order directly from the cook or the hostess. An imposing woman, you will immediately understand that it is her. The staff at the hotel and in the cafe (except for the hostess of the kitchen) do not speak English very well. There were a couple of jambs and misunderstandings. If possible, immediately ask to call a person who understands. I do not know if there are places and seasons without flies on the northern part of the lake. If there were none, this is a great place to chill for 2-4 days and enjoy the "other" nature of Bali. And so, for climbing Batur it is a good option. After a difficult climb up the volcano (we were not lucky with the weather.
